I have both, actually I have the magic bullet, the nutribullet, dessert bullet and the vitamix and blendtec and stick blender. They all have their uses. I love my magic bullet for small blendings like dressings, parsley etc, The nutribullet great for individual smoothies (magic bullet not good for smoothies) and vitamix and bledtec for heavy duty blending like hot soups.

Absolutely Horrible Company – Faulty Product & Zero Warranty Support If I could give zero stars, I would. I bought a Magic Bullet for my pregnant daughter so she could make simple smoothies. Instead of a safe, reliable product, it turned into an electrical hazard. Sparks, smoke, and a dangerous smell — exactly the opposite of what you want around someone who is expecting. I did everything they asked me to do: I sent pictures, I called, I emailed, I filled out their ridiculous questionnaires. I gave them every single piece of information they demanded. And after wasting hours of my life, they simply refused to honor their so-called “warranty.” This company clearly does not care about its customers’ safety or its promises. They hide behind their scripted responses and leave you stuck with a dangerous, useless piece of junk. Shame on Magic Bullet for selling faulty products, ignoring safety risks, and refusing to stand by their warranty. I will never buy from them again, and I strongly warn anyone else: if you value your money, your safety, or your sanity, stay FAR away from this brand.

My nutribullet is ~12 years old. It gets used almost daily. I have replaced the blades a few times (Amazon) but the machine still runs great. It is on the must have list for when my son goes to college.

This leaks both inside and all over the machine. It's a nightmare to clean. I screw the top on as tightly as I can, but it still leaks.

I had one in college used it for four years straight and ran it nonstop. The only reason I threw away is because it got gross from use overtime and I had decided to buy a new one to replace it. For some reason the ones made more recently or significantly less quality. Not even close to a year in and this one is failing. Sad to see a company reduce quality.
