Best Smoothies Ever!
After having motors burn up on cheaper machines I finally got a Vitamix . I make a lot of protein smoothies & the Vitamix is amazing. Powerful & easy to clean. Love the variable speed control & timer. No regrets !

Far Superior
Primarily, I make fruit or veggie smoothies at least 4-5 times a week. My Vitamix makes the most awesome smooth beverages. Far superior than anything I have ever used before ! Next I will work on purée for soups and sauces. Very easy clean-up.

Great tool but really disappointed in value
Product is amazing but feels like you get squeezed when you spend this kind of money and they provide the small mixing bowl. Seriously, if I spend top dollar, I expect to the full kit with the 8 cup size mixer. Bit of a gut punch.

It has a permanent spot on the counter and is used daily, sometimes more than once a day. I no longer stop for smoothies in the morning because I have a blender that can handle the task with no issues. It's saving me money and getting my husband to drink protein drinks in the morning with me. It comes in handy in the evening for a great frozen drink as well. The clean-up is easy as you just add water and a bit of dish liquid and hit the clean button. I would hands down recommend this blender to anyone.

Well blended but loud
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I made a jackfruit- mango- orange smoothie, using frozen fruit. Drinks taste well blended but the process was loud and the blender is bulkier than I'm used to. I'm assuming the extra bulk in the packaging helped the blender to tackle extra solid contents. In my photo, you can see what my drink looked like after an hour of leaving the jug out- still well blended and it didn't separate! Great for making drinks for a cute lunch as long as the kitchen is far from your guests.

Amazing blender, I totally get the hype now
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow I love this blender. I’ve been using a high end competitor blender for the past 6 or more years and was so excited to try this one out and honestly, I get the hype. It was incredibly powerful but also fast and honestly not as loud as the one I used to have. It crushes through ice and frozen fruit easily and I’ve used it for everything from smoothies to soups to finely dicing veggies and fruits to make salsas. It’s simple to operate and I was able to manually adjust the speed to suit my needs. Using the preset programs was also super simple along with the cleaning function (second photo). It’s pretty big and bulky so for now it lives on my countertop but it looks so nice it may stay there forever

MY NEW FAVORITE KITCHEN APPLIANCE!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS BLENDER!! It blends all of the food nice and smooth. I used it to blend cottage cheese up the other day and there was no chunks of cottage cheese left. This was my first time even hearing of vitamix products and I am obsessed! I will be surly using vitamix products in the future. The only thing I don’t like is that it is bulky and difficult to store.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blender is absolutely amazing. I am still learning to use its settings since it's all digital and has no words. It's not the most intuitive machine in terms of the display. As far as the actual blending, I can say, without a doubt, Vitamix blenders come second to none. It has a sound dampener, and the powerful engine is muffled. The sound dampener helps create a powerful yet surprisingly quiet blend. The blender has a self cleaner mode (most higher-end ones do now). I love that I have the stick to push down harder to blend items. I've had almost a month now, and I have yet to run into anything this doesn't obliterate in seconds.

Horrible burning smell
I’ve had this machine for 4 days now. Purchased the larger 64 oz self detect container to go with it, and it doesn’t work well at all!!! A horrible smells from the gears grinding is produced anytime I try to make a smoothie, and the machine jumps around the counter with simple frozen ingredients. I am so disappointed as I have always loved my precious vitamix blenders… but this is crap. Not worth the price tag if it isn’t going to work with th other self-detect containers.

Hi, we are sorry to hear of your disappointment in this product. The container description does indicate "Not currently compatible with the following Ascent X programs: Frozen Cocktails, Smoothie Bowl, Frappé, Nut Butter, Non-Dairy Milk, and Spice Grinding." We are happy to set up a return if you would like. The behavior you are experiencing is completely normal for a newer machine. Although all motors are tested at the Vitamix production facility, heavy use will cause further curing of the motor windings. This curing gives off a burning smell and is typical for wound motors. This smell will quickly dissipate after a few more heavy uses. In addition, the Vitamix motor is designed to protect itself from overheating. Sometimes the machine may emit a burning odor and/or stop temporarily because its thermal protector sensed that the machine was about to overheat. If this occurs, we recommend turning the power switch off for up to 45 minutes, allowing the machine to cool down or reset. To avoid overheating your machine in the future, be sure to ramp the machine up to the highest speed within 5 seconds of turning it on to activate the cooling fan in the motor. Taking the machine to its highest speed quickly will also help lessen the vibration.
