Viviscal Gorgeous Growth Densifying Conditioner - 8.5 fl oz

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Shampoo. I use it along with the scalp scrub and it smells amazing. Have been using it over a month now and it definitely helped my hair look and feel great. It has thickened and feels great.

Viviscal changed their conditioner to a new name, formulation, and packaging. The new version works poorly. Target is selling this with a picture of the old version, but shipping out the new one. Avoid!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this bottle of Viviscal Strengthening Conditioner along with the shampoo and I did notice my hair felt thicker but unfortunately this product is not for me because my hair felt rough and knotty so I would end up using a lot more product but the issue was the same when drying and styling.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this a while back with the shampoo and I really didn’t like what it did to me hair. My hair tangled up really bad and was difficult to brush I had to rewash it to make it feel normal again. I wouldn’t use these products again.

It failed to lather well and I felt I needed more product than I would usually use every time I washed my hair. The smell wasn’t particularly fresh and didn’t linger on my hair. I felt no real benefits as claimed in relation to thickening even after persevering for two weeks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used this for a month now and this conditioner gives smooth healthy look to my otherwise dry hair. I have yet to notice any improvement in thickness. I have very thin hair and I use this every time I shampoo my hair and apply evenly and leave it for 6-7 minutes before rinsing it off. There is definitely noticeable difference when I skip conditioner. I will continue using this because this gives a nice shine to my hair and also softens my hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really excited to get this Voxbox. A thickening conditioner? Sign me up! I honestly didn't know what to expect and was willing to give this trifecta of products (along with shampoo and serum too) a good try. In terms of packaging, I've got no complaints-it's what anyone would expect. It honestly reminded me of Fenola's packaging albeit less product. You get 8.45 oz and to distinguish it from the shampoo, it has a cap that's the same color as the bottle. As someone who has damaged and chemically-treated hair, I gravitate towards very moisturizing conditioners. And this was not. Given the creamy consistency, I was expecting my hair to feel nourished and hydrated. But the opposite happens. My hair felt like how it would feel after the shampoo step-dry and tangly. So I made the executive decision to use another conditioner with it. Whether or not if affected the "thickening" property of the conditioner, I'm not sure. But I wasn't walking out of the shower just using the thickening conditioner by itself. Overall, of the three products, this is the one that I liked the least. Does it work? Paired with the shampoo and the serum, I think so. Again, I would reiterate that this product is meant to be used as part of a three product system to achieve the "thickening" claim. By itself, I highly doubt you would see any difference.

After using this product about twice a week, for about a month I felt like I could feel a difference in my roots. At about the two month mark my hairstylist mentioned that my hair was finally growing back showing me the length the new growth was at. I’m at the three month mark and can still feel the progress. When I was at the point of complete frustration with post COVID hair loss, this came through and did the trick. Well worth the value and my cosmetologist told me to keep using it!

My only Complaint would be that the conditioner is quite thin and I feel like I need to use quite a bit for it to coat my hair

The conditioner leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft and my hair is feeling thicker. My hair smells lovely after use and doesn’t become as greasy in between washes.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Viviscal Strengthening Conditioner has a very beautiful and feminine fragrance which lingers long after the conditioner has been rinsed out. The conditioner is very effective at conditioning the hair and leaving it easier to comb and detangle. However, it does not leave my hair feeling as soft or looking as shiny as most other conditioners do, so it might be more suitable for hair that tends to become greasy rather than dry. It has left my hair feeling thicker and stronger, though I feel in doing so it has weighed my hair down a little rather than add any movement.
