Wonderful quiet air mover but the wire should be routed through the stand otherwise it just dangles there, gets int the way and looks trashy. Apart from that this is a high quality made in USA piece of equipment with a warranty to match. I love the one touch speed setting. It is possible to route the wires yourself with a bit of work. I have included photos of how it is after I did this to the fan.

Extremely quiet. Great for sleeping. The dial for speed of the fan is great. Infinite amount of speeds and not just 3.

The ceiling in my master bedroom is too low for a ceiling fan. After some research, I bought this Vornado model and love it. Hard to describe, but it doesn't even need to point directly at you for you to feel the breeze due to how it circulates it. Design is cool as well. Worth the purchase for absolute sure.

I have had my fan since mid April 2023 and have just a few 85+ degree days to test this fan out. I am so glad to know that with the fan I can tolerate when the thermostat registers 74-79. Without the fan that temperature is stifling to me. I look forward to seeing how this fan will help in summer when we have 100+ temps...hoping to not have to turn on the A/C since Commifornia has such expensive electric rates. I also LOVE how you can adjust the fan speed with the dial instead of preset options. The fan is very quiet ...I only hear it at the highest speed. I used to think I needed oscillating fan but no, you do not. I like made in USA and I like the DC power to save money.

Received a refurbished or returned item not sure….missing hardware, scratches all over base as if used item and box tore up on one side. Upset can’t even use fan because no bolts and screws included to attach and secure base for use-happy birthday-right! Vornado closed so no help and it’s not Targets fault so hoping not to have to return for refund…not even sure if it works but the cord packages were also undone….fan looks cheap but sure wasn’t.

I really appreciate the features on this fan, from the reduced energy usage, to the ease in dialing the volume of air it pushes. You can control the sound along with the flow of air. Very well made.

I bought this fan for the bedroom because I have the bigger one for the living room and I love it. It is built like a tank and is very rugged. It is virtually silent unless you turn it all of the way up. The stand is very sturdy and tough. The DC motor speed is infinitely adjustable so you can get just the right air velocity. The DC motor also saves money! This unit is made in the USA too! The only negative I have with this fan and its big brother is the lack of a cord management solution. The cord hangs from the plug at the bottom of the fan and sometimes unplugs itself. Other than this minor quibble, this is a forever fan that I will not need to replace every year. Very easy to open and clean. 10 year warantee!

I bought this a month ago and love it! I do wish the knob for the speed was made differently and the cord was at the bottom. Maybe hidden in the tubular base would be perfect. That’s why I give 4 stars.

Last year we bought one for our offgrid cottage in Upper Michigan. It got into the 90s in summer. Fan only uses 35 watts on high. Very effective in cooling the entire living and dining area. Worked so well we bought another one this year for our up stairs level. It's quiet. Can't say enough about this fan. We have another Vornado floor fan for house in wisconsin and 2 of the Flippy fans for our RV. This one is the best.

I bought this fan after years of getting secondhand fans to help circulate the air in our older home. Also, we have a camper van and use a goal zero battery and wanted something that drew a lot less energy. These DC fans are awesome! We can have them on all day while using minimal energy and the variable speed is the best!!!! We highly recommend this fan.

My Vornado fan on a stand keeps me cool at night in my second floor bedroom with no air conditioning. (I live in the hot and muggy Mid-Atlantic.) The fan is compact, stable, and high quality like all Vornado fans. This is my second Vornado. I refuse to buy cheap fans anymore that stop working after a few years.

This has to be the best fan I've ever bought. It's very quiet, stable, and extremely effective. Oh, and I (a grandma in my mid 70s) assembled it myself.

The fan is compact, i thought it might not move the air I'd hoped. This fan moves more air than the big noisy fan it replaced. When it's on lower settings I can't hear it at all, medium to higher i hear just enough background noise to help me fall asleep. The base stand is a sturdy and metal eliminating weird rattling other fans have.

Adjustable from gale to whisper. Powerful and effective at gale level but a bit loud. Not terribly attractive. We wanted to get the energy smart fan but would have preferred one in a "vintage" look. Please consider! Also, while it is height-adjustable, it is not easily adjustable. A screwdriver and some time are required to remove the middle length from the stand, and I expect this option would not often be used. Either make it more readily adjustable or don't advertise this as if it were a handy feature.

This fan has been so helpful for circulating the air in the bedroom. The speeds can be very powerful or light depending on how much you want at one time which is great. Also, great white noise.

I got my 1st Vornado back in the early 90's (1991 or 1992). The design and stand are similar to the one I just purchased. ( By the way the original is still working awesomely.) I like the way the air circulates in a room, to me it feels like you have a ceiling fan on. I can feel the air moving all around the room depending on how and where I point the airflow ( I like to point mine up towards the middle of the ceiling in the room I place it in). Reular fans, oscillating or othewise simply do not compare. The noise level is much lower, quieter than tradional fans too.

I bought this Vornado to replace our 12 year old existing one. This model is smaller but just as effective. It’s quieter and I love the control knob on the back vs. it’s old location on the base where it joined the stand. The stand is sturdier and it has rubber foot pads to make the vibrations on the hardwood floor nonexistent
