The KitchenSmith 2 slice toaster burned my items even on low settings. One side will be slightly brown, the other side will be black. The price was cheap and so was the quality of toasting. Already returned.

Just like everyone else, I struggled to find a happy medium, everything was burnt or uncooked, it cooked unevenly side to side and front toback, and most importantly, IT CAUGHT ON FIRE AND ALMOST BURNED MY KITCHEN DOWN. I had a plain Bagel thin in there, on setting 3, no crumbs in the bottom as I clean it after each use, and all of a sudden one half caught on fire! Flames were a foot high within a few seconds. Luckily I was standing right next to it and I pull my toaster out from under my cabinets when in use, so no further damage was caused, but it was terrifying and could have easily been so much worse. For your own safety, do not buy this toaster.

I thought, "just how bad can a $10 toaster be?" and the answer is, pretty bad my friend! I conservatively started my frozen waffles on a level 3, and it burnt both to a crisp. (If a frozen item burns on a 3, what scenario is a level 7 built for?) So then you go down to a 1, but the toaster won't accept the 1. It won't latch down, unless you go up to a 2. The 2 level is slightly cooler than holding your frozen waffles up to your cars air vents. If there's a change, you can't see it. So then you pop it down on 2 again, your only option. AND THEN that burns your waffles worse than the 3. How!? If you're tracking here, we are now down to two frozen waffles left in the 6 pack, and some serious trust issues. Spring for the $20 toaster and save yourself this plight. 2-3 packs of waffles and you'll recoup your additional investment on the better toaster. Save yourself! And your frozen waffles!

If you like burning your toast you’ll love this toaster. It sticks and burns bagels because the slots are thin. You can either over toast or under toast. Hard to find the happy medium. Additionally, the chord is short, stupid short, and it comes out the front of the toaster. Hellloooo? Who designed this thing? Yeah it’s cheap, and for a good reason.

This is the worst toaster I've ever had. A regular slice of bread doesn't even fit all the way down inside of it. I have to toast one end of the bread, then flip it over to get the other half toasted. The toaster itself is really flimsy feeling too.

Stock was low at my Target, so I picked up this toaster. Probably the worst toaster in my life. Toast is so uneven. In order to manually pop up toast, you have to turn dial all the way back. We tried to like it, but we have to move on and upgrade.

Buy something else. One side cooks more than the other so either one side is burnt or one side is undercooked. The bread only goes 80% in so the top parts doesn't get toasted at all. The cord is crazy still.
