A: The former answer doesn't respond to the question I asked. I had to order the cooker to find out that the INTERIOR diameter is 4.5", too small for any rack. The website no longer has a rack.

A: This makes 4 cups of cooked rice (2 cups of uncooked rice). Keep in mind this uses the rice cup standard which is 3/4 cup. If you ever lose your rice cup, just replace it with a standard 3/4 cup.

A: Of course you can cook porridge in this. The description even says it's a rice and grain cooker. I cook porridge (rolled oats) everyday in this and it comes out perfect every time.

A: Hello, Thank you for your question. Yes the inner pot is dishwasher safe. We do recommend washing on the top rack. As well, since the exterior of inner pot is bare aluminum. Most dishwashing detergents and the high heat from the dishwasher may discolor the pot. It would not affect the performance of the pot as it is a cosmetic issue if it happens.
