The compact 2 slice toaster works great and it fits prefect in the place I had in mind for it.

I am returning this item after completing the recommended dry run to remove the chemical scent. During use, I noticed how excessively hot it gets, which is a serious safety concern. This is not something you should leave unattended around children—it could easily lead to an ER visit. Additionally, I suspect this item had been returned previously, as the package appeared to have been resealed.

Very easy to use. Does a good job toasting. The outside of it does get pretty warm, so be careful with kids around. The turn knob timer makes it simple to use for anyone. I would recommend this product if you're wanting a cheap price for a toaster that works.

It toasts breads and bagels so evenly - no burnt spots and I pick what toast shade I want. Great to toast thicker breads or even smaller waffles. Just an around great toaster - perfect! Best of all since I use it everyday and it has an automatic shut off - peace of mind as I'm so busy in the morning. Cleans up so easy also.

This is a toaster that can be left out for immediate use or easily stowed away. Really like the extra wide slots for bagels or any thicker sliced bread. I would recommend this to any one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good, solid toaster designed for someone who wants a no-frills device without a lot of fine electronics inside. Which, is exactly me! Even in its retail packaging, it arrives in a box with plenty of cardboard supports, wrapped in plastic with the manual easy to find on the top! As the warning symbol embossed on the top of the machine indicates, the top of this toaster does get hot, but the sides stay cool, which is a MUST for me! I'm so happy about that!!! The bottom has a metal flap that opens and allows one to easily remove crumbs from the machine, in a much more simple and straightfoward way than typical crumb trays provide. I usually just take the unplugged machine and hold it over the sink while I lightly shake out the crumbs. My method is not the most elegant solution but, thanks to the easy design of the toaster, it IS a thorough way to clean it! Even though this toaster is listed as compact, it does take the large slices of the bread I make in my bread maker. I was a little bit worried about that because, despite liking a small toaster, what I normally eat is the bread I make myself rather than the much smaller, commercial loves purchased from the store. Happily, my worries were for nothing! So far I've been making toast not only just for buttered toast, but also for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, egg sandwiches, grilled cheese, mini toast pizzas, cheese toast, garlic bread, and croutons for salad. Hopefully, as the season turns more toward fall, I'll be adding pumpkin bread to this list! I have included pictures of the bread I made with my review, showing the darkness of each of three toast settings, as well as a piece of bread that is completely untoasted. Now, while a setting of 3 does not appear toasted, it -feels- toasted. The bread is nicely crisped up on the outer edges without drying out the toast or showing visible toasting marks. One side of the toast does get slightly more toasted than the other, but that's to be expected with a compact machine that has both toasting compartments placed so closely together. In addition to the "cancel" button there's also a "bagel" button that one must press -after- pressing the lever to start the toasting process. It appears to make the toast -much- darker, like a "turbo" button rather than a "bagel" button. If you do use this for bagels, I recommend slicing each bagel into thirds, rather than halves, before putting them in the toaster. Due to the simple versatility of the toaster, I heartily recommend it for anyone wanting toasted bread in their life. It's soooo good and easy to use even when I'm three-quarters asleep in the morning. Even if you're someone who likes fancy, smart gadgets, this is an -excellent- backup model for when all of those fancy electrical components start to fail and you're left without the wonder of warm, freshly toasted bread.

We all like the fact this toaster is a smaller/compact size. Like the fact this toaster can handle thicker slices of bread vs. the average toaster. Like traditional toasters, this toaster has a bagel and non-bagel settings.

Granted there are 7 toasting shades, but all vary with different kinds of bread or whatever you are toasting. You will need to start off at a low level at first to determine the level of toast you desire and keep eyes on it so not to burn the food. The heating elements inside are wavy and not all the same distance from the item being toasted which may not make for an even toast shade. The crumb tray opens easily and it does have a bagel button so single sided toasting is available. The slots aren't big for huge bagels, probably just for thinner bagel slices. If you aren't picky, great, this is your toaster, no frills and it small size make it great for the budget toast consumer.

There is only my husband and I left at home and this toaster is just what we needed. Perfect size for just 2 people and works great. I often make my own homemade sourdough bread and the thicker slices fit great. Easy to use, easy to keep clean and many settings to choose from. You won't be disappointed.

Better yet, it has a drop down door on the bottom which is perfect for cleaning up crumbs. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In July 2024, I used this compact 2 slice toaster to create breadcrumbs for a meatloaf recipe. I didn’t use bagel breadcrumbs, but a type of bread with dimensions, which were slightly larger than the regular sized loaves of bread available in the market. I toasted at the 1, 4 and 7 setting. Or light (minimum), medium and dark(maximum). The size of my home style bread slice would only fit in the toaster if the slice was on it’s side. The slices of bread toasted at the 7 or maximum setting did not burn. All settings popped the toast slices up to my satisfaction. I normally don’t use smaller slices of bread, but when I do, it’s a cinnamon raisin variety.
