Proctor Silex 2-Slice Toaster - White: Compact Bread Toaster, 700W, Plastic, Easy Clean, 1-Year Warranty

This toaster used to make good toast, but now it's not holding up well. The bagel button doesn't work great. It's not toasting evenly anymore, even though I don't use it much. The inside metal piece is bending, making it hard to lift bread. Making toast should be easy!

i like it simple! was hard to find a toaster WITHOUT so many functions.

I hope the plastic smell from the toaster will go away after a few uses.

Had it less than a year and a half and used it maybe 20-30 total times and today there was a pop sound and then it started smoking and smelling like burning. Do not recommend - dangerous.

This toaster doesn’t fit larger bread.

The only thing that I don't care for is the size of bread that can fit in this toaster. I actually forgot to look at this in the description. That's the only thing I would change because the larger slices are hard to get into the holes. Love the style, love the browning.

For the price it is serving the purpose it was intended for. It works just fine.

Great $20 toaster! Well made! Meaning NOT cheap construction or materials used (not flimsy). Only have had a few weeks and use very often (almost everyday), love my cinnamon toast in the morning. Using the 2/3 setting depending upon how much crunch I’m feeling. 2 is very light toast (a couple toast marks, but barely), 3 has the brown lines with still a little softness. Have also toasted toaster strudels, but on 3. Like a little chill on those. The crumb collector leaves the counter free of toast droppings. Easy to empty. Would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not what i expected. I've owned quite a few toasters in my lifetime. However, never have taken 3 tries to get the bread to the right toasty-ness. If u put on 3 it's way too light. So i've kept on changing the setting and finally had it on 5 to get it the way i wanted. Still a good lil toaster.

This toaster makes a perfect toasted bagel and the simple, clean design looks great. I love being able to control the level of browning, since different breads need different toast times. An excellent purchase!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product would be awesome for Texas Toast, but any regular bread that is cut from a baker does not fit, the slots aren’t long enough. I used it to cook breakfast and my pumpernickel bread wouldn’t fit so I had to break out the old toaster. Not a big deal, but wish this would have worked.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with my proctor silex electric toaster!! It has 2 slots 6 settings and an end button so no more burnt toast!! It has a removable crumb tray also. It’s nice and compact for my tiny kitchen! I love it and am so happy with it!

It’s easy to find the right spot for toast and wide slots are good for bagels. This toaster is very easy to clean as well since it has a removable slot for all the bits that fall down. Not all toasters have that feature which is nice.
