Great toaster!
Great item! It’s super easy to use and there’s lots of settings to choose from. Love the crumb tray that’s easy to pull out and empty. Would recommend this product. The first few toasts there was a weird burning smell but I think it was just the new appliance smell. It’s still good, don’t freak out.

Not As Good As Purported To Be
The toaster I received (via Amazon) does not live up to its reputation. A slice of bread is only adequately toasted on one side: the side facing the middle of the toaster. The side facing outward comes out barely tan while that facing inward is okay. It is as if the "bagel" setting is active for a normal bread slice. The toaster is attractively priced, but could have better performance. I would not recommend this model.

Excellent and Simple to Use Toaster
Very lightweight yet solidly built toaster. We store this toaster on a shelf to maximize counter space, so getting the toaster down and putting it back on the shelf is no problem.

Not what I expected
We have had this toaster for a year. It does not toast evenly. The top will burn and the bottom is not toasted. One side is done, the other not. We won’t be buying Cuisinart again.

It’s Pretty and sturdy!
It’s a good toaster if you just want one side browned. Otherwise, you will have to flip the toast from one side to the other. Not what I expected!

Would not buy
It broke after 3 months. When I called cuisinart, they guessed the problem (lever did not keep toaster down, toaster wouldn’t turn on) without me even saying it. I wish I’d bought a different brand. They’re sending me a replacement but I don’t trust the brand anymore.

Defective
The bagel function did not work at all. I exchanged it for the exact same item, and the bagel fumction did not work.

Sparks, not in a good way!
Purchased online July, 2024 and it never worked right. Would toast too dark or not enough on 3. Hardly used. Today, 18 months after purchase, it burned the toast on 3, on one side, and started to spark. Very scary! Should have returned it immediately. Would not recommend at all.

Doesn't stay down after 4 weeks
After 4 weeks of use by a retired couple it no longer stays down to toast bread. Your brand had always been number 1 with us. Thinking this toaster is not the norm for Cuisinart. How do we return it?

Seems reliable, solid gift

Size, choice options
I love the very small size of the toaster! Very compact! All the options for defrost, warm, etc. seem redundant. All those choices are doable manually. Love the "cancel" button, though!

Disappointing
I was gifted this toaster and it didn’t work. Pressed down the lever and it wouldn’t stay down and the elements wouldn’t heat. Cuisinart sent a replacement that did the same thing. Clearly there is a problem with their toaster but they won’t do anything about it.
