4-Slice Compact Toaster
I haven't bought a toaster in quite awhile, but some reviews I read said that this toaster was a winner. I have been happy with it so far. It does what it's supposed to do: it toasts bread. We are still learning the toaster and how to play with the toasting times to get a good result. We had a 2-slice toaster before this, but this toaster doesn't take up much more space than the old toaster, so that's a plus, too.

Mediocre toaster
It toasts uneven as the elements do not heat evenly. The bagel setting toasts on both sides. It works but overall I'm not terribly impressed.

Uneven toast.
For the first couple times I used it the lever would stick in the down position. After forcing it up a couple times it started popping up okay. Biggest issue is no matter what setting I use it toasts very uneven. Dark on one side light or not toasted at all on the other.

Not like the past ones
I'm very sad that this is more flimsy and doesn't put the toast down on the first try - sometimes 3-4 tries and only toasts on one side. I should have just kept my old one.
