Perfect for my busy morning
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely in love with this Cuisinart toaster! Such a wonderful tool for every morning, easy to use and amazing performance. I can choose to use one or both sides at a time, it gives 6 different options of what kind of bread I’m toasting (including pastry, my favorite). I can choose how much toasted I want my bread and I find perfect the size of the compartments (I can feet a whole croissant in there). It is not heavy, perfect size for my kitchen, beautifully made and silent. Absolutely love it.

Versatile toaster with even results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve really enjoyed using this toaster! One of my favorite features is the wide variety of bread settings, including white bread, pastry, bagel, English muffin, artisan, and waffle. The motorized function is also a great feature. The bread slowly lowers into the toaster with the push of a button, which feels very smooth and convenient. I also love the extra wide slots because they accommodate thicker slices without having to force the bread in. Most importantly, the toast cooked very evenly, giving me consistent results. Overall, this toaster feels more modern, easy to use, and versatile enough to handle much more than just a standard slice of bread.

Toast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design is modern, the size saves space and the long slot can accommodate thick breads, allowing me to toast many different kinds of breads. I tried several times to find the perfect toasting level for me, the bread came out perfectly toasted on both sides without burning and still soft inside. Cleaning is also easy, pull out the crumb tray at the bottom to remove the crumbs first and wipe it.

Ideal Combo
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was interested in this toaster due to the size of the slots, and it worked exactly as I’d hoped! No more turning and re toasting sourdough, squashing bagels in, etc - this toaster perfectly accommodates larger items. The two features I love/use most were things I wasn’t worried about or interested in at the onset, but now find I appreciate them most: first is how quiet this unit is due to the motorized lever, the second is the quick view! Quick view lets you bring up the toasted item to check progress without resetting the timer/levels so if all is going well there’s limited effort. My previous toaster you’d reset the cycle, obviously, leading to potential for scorching/burnt toast if you didn’t go stop it after restart. Not so with this! It is a small pause to check and back down the toast goes to complete the process.

Smart, quiet toaster with extra wid slot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been really happy with this XL 2 slide toaster so far. Once of the first things I noticed is that most of it is made of stainless steel, which gives it a nice, solid feel. It is well made without being too heavy, and it looks great on the countertop. The extra wide slots are a huge upgrade from my old toaster. I can toast everything from thick-cut bread to bagels witbout having to force them in or worry about them getting stuck. The first time I used it, there was a noticeable chemical burning smell. I let it run empty for about 30 seconds, and the smell went away. Since the , I haven’t had any issues. The mototized lift is a nice feature. It’s quiet, smoothly lowers and raises the bread, and play a pleasant alrt melody when it is done. I also like that it has settings for different types of bread and bagels, so it automatically adjusts the time and temperature. So far, every slife has come oit evenly toasted, I haven’t burned anything yet.

Toaster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This toaster seemed cool at first, but it’s really just more complicated for no reason. What’s wrong with a toaster that has knobs and a lever? I don’t need a motorized toaster with digital functionality. It did work though so I did a middle score.

Cuisinart Toaster
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've owned a few toasters before, so I didn't think there was much that could surprise me. After all, a toaster's job is just to make toast. But this one actually did. First of all, the automatic operation is fantastic. With a single press, the bread lowers itself and pops back up when it's done. It's a small feature, but it makes the whole experience feel much more premium. Second, I have no idea how it does it, but using the exact same bread, the toast comes out more evenly browned and crispier than with my previous toasters. The only thing I'm not a fan of is that it needs to be unplugged after each use. It would be great if it had a physical power button so it could be turned off without having to disconnect it from the outlet.

Smart Design with Thoughtful Features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been very impressed with the Cuisinart Smart Elite 2 Slot XL Toaster. I tested it with several different types of bread, including bagels, frozen sandwich bread, and thick artisan bread. The standout feature for me is the extra-long slots. I love enjoying artisan-style bread and I have never had a toaster that could fit the slices properly - no more flipping them halfway through. The controls are easy to understand. I like the Quick View feature to check the progress without interrupting the toasting cycle. The toast shade selector is easy to adjust, and the +30 Seconds button has been perfect when I wanted just a little more browning. I also think the Defrost function is going to be a game changer for quickly toasting bread straight from the freezer. The stainless steel finish looks beautiful in my kitchen and looks very high-end. Overall, this toaster works really well and has thoughtful features that make everyday toasting more convenient. I definitely recommend it.

Awesome toaster!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like this toaster, especially the motorized lift and the handy beep when the toast is ready. There are dedicated bread type settings, which helps with taking out the guesswork as well as an option to pick your shade of browning. It took a few tries to figure out which shade I preferred. You can save your preferred settings in the built in memory function as well. Another nice option is being able to hit the "quick view" button to see how your bread is toasting. It briefly lifts and then lowers. If you need more time, you have the option of adding an additional 30 seconds. If you're happy with the way it looks and you want to stop the browning, just hit cancel. This toaster is definitely a great addition to my kitchen.

The Best Toaster Ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is the best toaster I have ever had. The size of the toaster is perfect for me to toast bagels, and it never gets stuck. I like the design and how I have options to choose for different breads. The added convenience is that I can check the readiness anytime by pressing the button, and the toaster will lift up the bread for me to look at. Then I can change the settings to my preference. My most favorite part is that it quietly raises up the bread after it is done, and doesn't make any noise at all. My only comment is that I would like a detailed manual to be included since I love to study all the functions of this fancy small appliance. I love Cuisinart.

Good idea, needs improvement
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product for free from Home Testers Club US and Cuisinart for testing purposes. This is a very modern and sleek looking toaster. It adapts to the size and temperature desired. Or at least that's the attempt. It has pros and cons. Pros... it's digital, it has a cool appearance, it has several options, including a memory button. Cons... not universally friendly. There's no on or off button. You need to plug it in to operate and unplug to turn off, making it not kid friendly. My teen son called it complicated. The darkness levels go from 1-7. I chose level 5 for my waffles and came out completely pale. I tried the 30 additional secs option twice and my waffles were still cold. Making it inconvenient and inefficient. I know there's a learning curve with a new product and I really like this toaster. I was very excited to try it. The truth is, I wanted to love it, but it missed the mark for me.

We're glad to hear that you appreciated the modern design, digital interface, and variety of features offered by the 2-Slice Motorized Digital Toaster. We're sorry that the performance and ease of use did not fully meet your expectations; for best results, toast settings may need some adjustment based on the type, thickness, and starting temperature of the item being heated, and increasing the darkness level for frozen foods such as waffles may help achieve better results. We appreciate your feedback regarding the controls and user experience. Thank you for sharing your thoughtful feedback, as it helps us continue improving our products and better meet the needs of our consumers.

Very very good!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My family loves eating toast but heating a whole toaster oven takes too long so I was happy to try this. Right out of the package, it was more lightweight than I expected, I thought it would be more heavy duty but it looks really good on my counter. I really like the size of it, not too big, although I don't like the fact they call it XL slot because I can't fit my longest part of a sourdough loaf in it. But it works for most slices that are longer than traditional sandwich bread. I really like some functionalities it offers that other toasters don't have - choosing the type of bread, single toast only and quick check. I only toast a single piece most of the time, and quick view gives me a nice quick check on my toast level. I also love that it is motorized so the toast doesn't pop out, also it beeps when toast is done which is a nice addition. It also automatically turns off even if connected to power. It's a 4.5 for me, not 5 because sometimes it doesn't toast evenly on both sides.

Still smells like burning wires
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I gave this 2 stars because it does work. I ran it through a few cycles but straight out of the box before I even plugged it in, it smelled burnt and burning. After a few cycles it didn't get better. I do like that it has the check option where you can see how your toast is coming along. Plus a bunch of features and options I didn't try because I wasn't going to waste any bread or products if I wasn't going to eat them. I won't eat anything out of this toaster unless that burning smell (burnt wires) goes away.

We're sorry to hear that the 2-Slice Motorized Digital Toaster had a persistent burning odor right out of the box. While a slight odor can occur during the initial burn-in period of a new appliance, a strong or ongoing burnt-wire smell is not expected; we recommend ensuring any packaging materials have been fully removed from the unit. Please contact our Consumer Assistance Center at 1-800-726-0190 and reference Ticket #8901063978 so our team can assist with troubleshooting and review your experience in greater detail. We appreciate you sharing both the features you liked and the concerns you encountered, as your feedback helps us improve our products and consumer experience, and we thank you for taking the time to provide your review.

Luxurious, convenient, and easy to use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love this product; it toasts bread beautifully. Thanks to the motorized, one-touch lift mechanism, bread is lowered and raised gently without the need for a lever, offering a smooth and modern toasting experience. The extra-long slots are 40% larger than standard ones, making them ideal for breads like thick-cut sourdough, thin-sliced rye, and various artisanal loaves. The "One-slice" mode ensures even toasting and perfect browning on both sides. With its elegant, user-friendly design, it truly enhances the kitchen space. I highly recommend this product to everyone.
