Great toaster!
Evenness of browning, and very quick. Ergonomics are great, no need to preheat. Seems very durable. Very happy with this toaster!

Exceeds my expectations
I absolutely love this toaster. It is very durable and doesn't feel flimsy during use like other toasters I have had. The settings are clearly marked and easy to change when needed. Everything I toast comes out exactly as expected. It is very easy to clean and fits my space well. I expected to get a quality product when I ordered it and this toaster exceeded my expectations!

Looks great, but doesn’t toast well.
The toaster visually looks great in my kitchen. However, to even get a slice of toast slightly brown, you have to turn it to the highest level. I’m disappointed because it’s visually very appealing, just doesn’t toast/brown/crunch well :(

For the price it works just fine
It is a nice toaster. Does what I want it to do. Only issue is I wish it toasted faster. Other than that issue I am happy.

This toaster offers a 1500-watt heating element, which does provide quick heating for toasty results in a snap. We recommend trying a quick electronic reset to see if it helps with the slow toasting. This can be done by unplugging the power cord for 2-3 minutes, then plugging it back in. Highly Recommend This Toaster.
Best 4-slice toaster I have ever owned. Easy to clean with crumb trays at the bottom that slide out. Multiple control settings with large slots for bagels, waffles and breads. Includes cancel, frozen and bagel buttons.

Upon placing my first slice of toast in the GE 4 - Slice Toaster, the toast came out perfectly even on both sides and perfectly brown set at the 4 ½ setting, maybe a tinge of a difference but still pleased. A slight odor at the beginning to most likely burn off the elements. After that, the toaster was fine. Easy to use settings illuminated in blue and the dial settings have positive clicks. I opted for the stainless version as I am quite satisfied as to the quality and performance. The large sized toaster slots are very welcome as one can place Texas toast or bagels within with no problems. Quite pop up mode when toast is finished. About three minutes for one slice of toast set at 4 ½ .

Happy with performance
It is a very nice all round toaster. Easy to set up and use. Toast comes our consistent. After a couple of purchased toasters from other source, one that failed on day 2, it was a relief to get one that actually works.

Worst toaster ever! Does not toast evenly. To get any color on your bread you have to put it on 6 or 7 and then it’s so crunchy that it makes a mess.

Almost the perfect toaster
Since there are now three adults living in one space, for the most part, this toaster has been an excellent upgrade from our old two-slice model. The design is a nice touch in our kitchen, with easy to use controls. The performance, however, is inconsistent. We have figured out how to best achieve our desired "toastiness" through patience and tweaking. When the browning is perfect, it is VERY perfect. And, because each of us has a different preference for our toast color, the tweaking becomes necessary. This toaster has been the closest to perfect in performance to date.

Love this toaster!
Replaced my 18 year old GE Toaster. This one is very nice looking. Love the wider slots and that it pops up higher. Settings accurate. Do wish the cord was in the back instead of the side.

Very slow toaster
Just set up this toaster today. It is a good looking Appliance however, I can see where fingerprints and smudges are going to be a problem all over this toaster. I went through the set of procedures and then made my first two pieces of toast. I had the setting on seven or maximum browning and it took a really long time and unfortunately came out rather light. Haven’t decided whether or not, I will be keeping this toaster yet.

True Settings
This is a nice large slot toaster. It makes great toast with it's settings pretty true. The only issue I have with it is the push down handle, which seems to be an afterthought to an otherwise well designed appliance.

So far I like the toaster. My last two were Cuisinarts. They are more expensive but don’t toast evenly. The GE maybe takes a little longer but I like that the bagels or rolls come out crisp on the outside but softer on the inside. The controls however are a little harder to turn.
