Easy to use
It's a toaster, it's easy and it works as a toaster should. What I really like about it is that it has very sturdy feet, it won't slide as you push the lever down for toast.

This light weight toaster is awsome! It has many settings for a variety of toasting needs. We had a toaster( I won't name drop here), let's just say it is a well known name in the cooking industry, that from day one only toasted on one side of the bread/bagels. It also took a long time to heat up and required multiple attemps to get the desired darkness to what ever we were toasting. This Cuisinart toaster works the 1st time & everytime we toast something and it toast's to perfection on both sides of the bread/bagels. It's fast & efficient. This is well worth the money for a very reliable product.

4-Slice Compact Toaster
I haven't bought a toaster in quite awhile, but some reviews I read said that this toaster was a winner. I have been happy with it so far. It does what it's supposed to do: it toasts bread. We are still learning the toaster and how to play with the toasting times to get a good result. We had a 2-slice toaster before this, but this toaster doesn't take up much more space than the old toaster, so that's a plus, too.

Uneven toasting
We bought this to replace an older model of the same toaster because the older toaster did. It toast on both sides of the bread evenly. We were disappointed to find out this new model also did. To toast evenly at all. We had to return it.

Great buy, great performance
Saw this recommended in Wirecutter. Great toaster, does everything from bagels to large slices of bread, but doesn’t take up a lot of counter space. Got mine in black and it looks great on my kitchen counter. Two separate sets of controls so you can toast bagels and skinny pieces of bread at the same time and everything comes out perfectly. Easy to clean separate crumb trays too. Best toaster I’ve had in ages and at a nice price point.

What the Others Say is True
As noted in other reviews, it toasts well for both bread and bagels. The one issue is what's been mentioned before - the setting dial does not have detents or other notches to hold the darkness setting, thus it can be unintentionally moved and the toast comes out too light or too dark. This should be improved and then it would earn 5 stars.

Glad it was a gift
Got this toaster as a wedding gift, and it's pretty bad. Have had it for over 2 years now, and for the entire first year every time we'd use it, it would make our whole apartment smell like burning plastic. It's also impossible to get the levers to stay down, you have to push them like 20 times to get them to stick and start the toasting process. We've tried a bunch of tricks to see if anything works to get them to stay down better, but nothing does. So glad I didn't spend money on this.

We purchased this toaster as a replacement to one that was burning out. We found out what we were missing!!! This toaster toasts according to the settings so we are no longer eating burnt toast! It also very attractive on my kitchen counter!

Good 4-slice toaster
Good 4 slice toaster. Used for 8 months and the right side doesn’t always pop up when done. It sounds like it popped up, but lever has to be pushed up to retrieve toast.
