[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked the various options that it comes with such as bagel mode, ability to adjust different levels of bread roasting. But one thing that I wish it would have would be to memorize the bread roasting level so that It doesn’t need to be changed all the time. Overall a great product and looks stylish with the stainless steel finish.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was primarily used in the kitchen area. The results weren't great at best. There are basically two settings that yielded decent results. The manufacturers website also lists several errors in the description of this product. They are as follows: It's stated that there are 9 shades selections to pick from, yet the digital readout only goes from 1-7. Not sure where the other 2 shade choices are hiding but they are not user selectable. The other error is that it's also states that if you desire just one piece of toast then push/select the "one slice button". Only problem being that no such button exists on this model. When making toast, selecting either 1 or 2 on the digital shade selector, yields very light toast. Selecting 3 or 4 yields decent toast with 3 being the best. Selecting 5, 6 or 7 gives basically burnt toast. Similar results were yielded when toasting bagels. This product, in this reviewers opinion, has a few design issues, like the crumb trays are very flimsy and have to be slid out to be cleaned. This issue being, that if they are full of crumbs, they are hard to remove without making a mess. Overall I'd say this product is bit expensive for a toaster yet the results make it difficult to accept the price. Other Hamilton Beach toasters cost less and may work better.

It has a defrost feature. Cancel button. You can choose the darkness of your items too. If youre looking for a 4 slice or 2 slice. Toaster Hamilton Beach has this great product. Check it out. Easy to clean tray for the crumbs. Looks great to leave ona counter too.

It's sturdy and made well. It does a wonderful job of toasting and it gets it right the first time. I'd definitely recommend this toaster and it will last us a long time!

And toast evenly The stainless steel design is very sleek and modern and goes with any kitchen. Doesn't take up much space and is built to last. Buttons are pressed with ease as well as the handle to slide the toes down

Hamilton Beach product are well made. I've never had any problems with any of my products from Hamilton Beach. Using the toaster in my kitchen. I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One thing I can definitely say about Hamilton Beach products. Is they last for a long time. This is our fourth Hamilton Beach for sliced toaster. The ones I had prior to this toaster have been given to friends and family. I have never had a Hamilton Beach toaster quit working. What I love about this for slice toaster-it has a council button, a bagel button and a defrost button. I love that the light lights up in blue. You can set it all the way up to seven. I typically keep it on four, but that’s my preference. I actually prefer that this toaster has the breadcrumb tray in the back and not the front. When it’s time for a new toaster again I will definitely be purchasing a Hamilton Beach one and gifting this to a friend or family member.

I love that it has 4 slots so that you don't have too spend more time cooking your toast. I also love that it has a crumb tray underneath so that it makes cleaning it up that much easier! The 4 slice wide toaster is good for making toast, bagels, texas toast and more on whatever setting you like, light or dark setting. This toaster also has a boost feature for toasting English muffins. The defrost is perfect for waffles, pancakes then make them golden brown by toast setting. There is also a cancel setting, removeable crumb tray for easy cleaning and digitial display so you can see what level at a distance. The stainless steel exterior is easy to clean and cool to the touch. I definitely recommend the Hamilton Beach Digital 4 Slice Toaster for toasting multiple products all at once!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is a beautiful toaster right out of the box. Pros: 1. You can make 4 slices of toast at the same time with different settings. 2. It has a defrost setting. My son wanted a bagel but they were frozen. He was able to put it in on defrost and had his bagel in no time. 3. They bagel setting only cooks one side of the bagel. 4. The slots are really wide to hold big slices or bagels. I no longer have to squish my bagels down to fit it in my toaster. 5. The digital number display is great so you know what number to cook your toast. My old one had a knob and it was difficult to determine the correct setting. 6. The crumb trays make it easy to empty the crumbs. 7. It looks beautiful on my counter. Cons: 1. The first few times you use it, it smells like something is burning. There should be a warning about that. I thought I had left pieces of packaging inside at first. 2. The setting resets to 4 after each use. I like my toast at 6 and I have to change the setting each time I use it. 3. It is difficult to see the buttons without leaning down to the counter level to read it. 4. It gets finger prints on it really easily so it needs wiped down all of the time. Overall I highly recommend this toaster. It works well and looks great.

I like the look of the toaster and the overall idea is great it took me a minute to figure out what setting I wanted on the digital code button but I tried a few till I found the one I liked overall a nice toaster with a sleek look and easy to use buttons

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a digital display 4 slice toaster. The slots are extra wide, which is great for bagels, Texas toast, and many others. I love that fact that this has a “toast boost” so you can lift it higher to easily remove your item. I did notice when toasting bagels, that one side just is warm and the other toasted the bagel. I never had a toaster do this function. Like most toasters, this has 2 crumble trays for easy clean up on the bottom. Great toaster!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Pros: - Digital shade setting of 1-7. - 4 nice wide slots for bagels. - Defrost option (works fine). - Cancel button (no more trying to force the mechanism up if you want to end the toasting. Just push the cancel button and up it pops). - There’s also a “High-Lift” feature that allows you to raise the toasted item up higher to be able to remove it easier, which is nice. - The two crumb trays in the back slide out very easily. - The stainless-steel finish goes well in my kitchen and is easy to clean. - The power cord is around 30” long. - It carries the ETL/UL/CSA safety certifications. Cons: - The levers have trouble staying down. I find myself having to push the lever down several times before it catches, increasing the force each time. It just isn’t as easy as other toasters I’ve had. I once pushed both sides down at the same time and the toaster actually flipped forwards. - Note that because it is digital, you have 7 “fixed” shade levels. I.e. unlike a dial, you can’t set it to something in the middle like 3.5. But one of the 7 shades will probably be fine once you establish the right one. The main problem is unless your desired shade is “4”, it is not retained. A couple of minutes after toasting something, (and definitely if the toaster is unplugged), the number always reverts back to “4”. So you have to always remember to check the number when toasting multiple times. - I like the looks of the blue lit circle for the cancel, bagel, and defrost buttons, but I’m not crazy about the looks of the “display bubble” for the level setting number. I also find myself having to bend down to read it as you almost have to be at eye-level of the display to see the number which is recessed. - As you can see in the pics, I found that it toasts “fairly evenly”, but not perfectly. Summary: I was a bit disappointed with this toaster. Without the short comings, the toaster would have been much better. But in the end, it does the job.

Happy with four slots, I can finally have my own toaster side, since I am gluten intolerant. We have used for two days so far, and it works well with toasting different bread types. My only complaint is that one of the plastic crumb tray handles broke off just on the second day of use, and without applying any type of pressure to it. Hope you can apply the warranty to it.
