Works and functions as it should!
Good toaster. Slots are wide on top and it is easy to use. Only thing I would want to make a potential buyer aware of, is if you get the stainless steel and black color option...the black appears to be more of a dark gray in color and not as dark as the pics show on websites. If you are looking for a rich color black and trying to match this up with something in your kitchen...you may want to look at something different!

Quick and efficient toaster
This toaster does a very efficient job! So far, we haven't had an issue with the bread staying down as is mentioned in some other reviews. The bagel setting simply has the unit toasting longer and not just one side of the bagel. If you'd like a toaster to only toast one side. This one isn't for you. If I could change on thing it would be the length of the slots to better accommodate larger breads. Other than that, this is a very good toaster.

Great value for four -slot Cuisinart Toaster
The Cuisinart Toaster has an excellent price point among competing brands. Cuisinart is a name you can trust. This is my second four-slot Cuisinart toaster. I noted some differences which makes this experience different. The toaster lever must be softly lowered and held in the on position. Moving it down quickly will not engage the toaster. The lever will return to the up position. This creates a learning curve for the user. In all other respects it operates well with the same functionality including a selection for bagels and defrost.

Wonderful Toaster
We bought this toaster about a month ago and have been very pleased with its performance. It can toast bread, english muffins and bagels with great results. You can adjust the settings to customize how dark or light you prefer your toast. Also each side has its own pull out crumb tray for easy cleaning.

Do Not Waste Your Money, This Model Is Horrible
For the last twenty years, we had this very model of Cuisinart toaster, and it was amazing. When we had to replace it, we purchased another Cuisinart that looked just like it. This toaster is not heavy and sturdy, like its predecessor…..this one is very flimsy and cheaply made. We purchased one, and immediately had to return it, because the right side slots didn’t work. We purchased the second replacement, and it only worked for a few weeks. The toaster levers won’t stay down half of the time. It’s TERRIBLE.

My wife and I tried 2 other toaster brands and took them both back because they did not toast both sides of the bread.It was because of the poor quality heating element in them. The Cuisinart toaster browns both side of whatever you are toasting evenly every time. They make quality products that we can depend on. We are very happy with our Cuisinart purchase.

Not good enough.
Update to my first review. On top of uneven toasting the bread does not brown at the bottom of the slots either so the claim of having deeper slots for longer bread is pointless! I have found that the only way to get even browning all over is to set it at 3 then take the bread out, turn it ovre and upside down and put it in again. I would not recommend it.

Did not meet my expectations
Good looking toaster, but in less than 2 weeks of use it already has features that no longer work. The bagel light on 1 side is already not working and both sides only toast the bottom half of what I am toasting.

Ordered the same model

Looks nice, but does not do a good job toasting. One side of bread will be burnt and the other side barely toasted. Very inconsistent heat.
