Vornado - VFAN Mini Classic Personal Vintage Circulator

This fan gives off MCM (mid century modern vibes), moves a ton of air for its size, and feels really solid. Came fully assembled.

I bought a green mini classic that did not work, straight out of the box. I previously purchased another classic Vornado fan that has worked well and I've enjoyed, so I was excited to get another. I really liked the design and the green color was a more appealing shade than expected. The customer service has been mixed. I wrote to the help email, and received a reply that (eventually) set me up with the warranty. I've followed the steps to submit the claim, and now communication has completely dropped off. I'm hoping this means that another fan is already in the mail on its way, but I would be lying if I didn't admit that this week make me think twice about buying another Vornado product.

Modern products that mimic retro design are so often disappointing. They might look great but they're often made from cheap plastic materials. I am pleased to report that this fan is as good as it looks. It is solidly constructed with thick, heavy metal and features superior modern performance. I bought this for temporary use while my central unit was being repaired, but it has earned a permanent spot on my desk. I highly recommend it.

I like it it super cute just like my big one but it makes a annoying sound when on so I don’t turn it on to often.

This vintage style fan looks great and keeps our guest room cool. It doesn’t oscillate but it’s still really effective.

I shouldn't review this yet as I have only turned it on once, but in the interests of clearing our my in box, here goes: This fan is very cute and looks perfect for my intended use which is in the bathroom to run on the hemp shower curtain after a shower. I am pleased that it is mostly metal (wish the fan blades were too), and I also like that it is simple with on / off and low / high speed and that is it. The antique white is almost tan which looks great with the wood in the bathroom. Seems to work fine and I hope it is good quality to last for awhile.

The fan isn’t as white as I was expecting, but like it. Does it’s job.

I bought this, because my mom has been struggling with fevers, despite medical attention. We had been resting a little battery-operated fan on the bed, as I thought we would have to with this one. Absolutely unnecessary. It might be small, but it has power. It is almost entirely made of metal, which I prefer, but have come to not expect in modern products. It is retro-elegant, and it is a joy to use. One slight quibble is that the color seems a little darker than the photos, but it is such a relief to have a quality product one hardly cares.

I desperately needed a desk fan at work, and when I saw this fan on my friend's desk, I knew it was the one. I love the retro look, and it works beautifully, as I expect from Vornado. The two settings are exactly what I need. The high setting is quite powerful but still pretty quiet, and the low setting keeps the air moving without me even noticing. It's perfect.

I love my mini Classic Vintage VFAN!!! It's so stylish and goes with our mid-century vibe! I wish I had gotten the larger version in the end but still very happy with this one!

This fan did not turn on at all for me when I tried plugging it in. There were also little specks/sand looking junk that came out when I opened the box. It sounded like there was some still in the fan when I shook it. This went back to the store right away.

I love Vornado products. I own four full size fans. I especially love their metal models. Nothing puts out more air than Vornado fans. At least, that's what I thought. This mini model is nothing better than a $5 box fan. It puts out nothing. I can hear the air going through but where it goes I have no idea because it's not coming out the front to cool me off. Vornado messed up badly with this one.

Similar to another review, the green color pictured is not the same as the actual product - it's much darker. It is a bit loud, but not enough to be disruptive. I think it's worth the value overall!

Perfect for bedside or office. Has only 2 speed settings and does not oscillate but the lower speed setting is perfect for my office to ventilate fresh air around. Highly recommend. The color was a little darker than expected from online.

Perfect desk fan! I also like that it is compact but still circulates a decent amount of air. It’s relatively quiet and very nicely made.
