Q: Does the finial screw off so the rod can be installed in a tight corner, and then the finial can be reinstalled after the rod is slipped through the bracket?

Hardware is frustrating
The hardware for these rods make it very difficult to make any sort of small adjustment since the holders go all the way around the rod, which don’t allow you to simply lift the rod up and out of the holder. You have to slide the entire rod out, which can be annoying.

Perfect for our new home. But warning when trying to hang using drywall anchors - we messed up the first rod because we thought the screws were too long for the anchors. Some of the anchors may need to be split at the end using a razor blade so that the end of the screw can go through into the wall. Once we realized this, we were able to install the rest fine.

Problem with screws and wall anchors!
The curtain rod is very nice looking and goes well with our decor. But a huge issue exists with the screws and wall anchors. The screws are too long for the anchors and don’t go in all the way even using a power drill.

Included hardware doesn't fit well
This is an attractive curtain rod, but the hardware with it was terrible. The screws won’t fit into the drywall anchors, whether it’s with a drill or manually screwing them in they won’t fit and then got stripped out. We wound up using other screws/anchors we have on hand as it was such a bust with the included hardware.
