A: Bryan- It is recommended you do not extend the rods further than allows them to overlap each other approximately 3 inches for stability. If you want to combine rods from other sets, yes, you can do this and add additional center brackets as well.

Poor Quality
A surprisingly low quality curtain rod. This thing sags like crazy. It absolutely requires a 3rd bracket to support the middle, which it of course didn't come with. Additionally, after sliding on the curtains and going to screw in the right side rod, it would only go about halfway. When we tried to back it out to try again, the threaded screw seperated from the bracket and was stuck to the rod. To get it fully screw in and seat without any screw exposed, I had to take the bracket down and then hold the rod in my hands while my wife put all her might into screwing the bracket into the rod. Once we got it together I was able to re-hang the bracket and rod and then slide the left side over top and then screw that part in. Was for more work than it should have been. If it had worked as intended then it would have been a relatively good value, but the one I got was junk.

I really like these curtain rods but they’ve changed over the last few years. Instead of being able to screw into the wall from the front of the bracket, there’s a separate bracket to drill into the wall first, then slide the faceplate/rod over top. I wanted my curtains almost to the ceiling but due to this new design, I had to move the rod down the wall further than I wanted to. My dad is extremely handy and the install for these was not very easy. Overall the look is great but install was a pain and be aware you need clearance above the bracket to slide the fixture into place.

Beautiful matte black rod, easier if you use screws
The rod is beautiful matte black. We are renters so it was the perfect option because there is a nail only option for installment (our landlord requires nails only). The only reason I have 4 stars is because the nails go in at an angle and it wasn’t the easiest to install. It ripped more paint/drywall than it should’ve and hammering the nails at an angle is a pain.

Very difficult to install. Aside from that it’s not fully blackout, as the gap at the top on the rod allows a good amount of daylight in.
