It is a well-designed RO
It is a well-designed RO filter, good value and has worked well so far. Self-install went relatively smoothly, except for having to drill / expand a hole in SS sink. The operation document can be simplified more, particularly about how best to use it. Our incoming TDS from California Water Services 220-270 ppm right now. We installed it to reduce TDS and impurities not measured by the utility. We have not yet tested the outgoing water through a lab. TDS does drop down to 10-20 ppm. So, scaling we used to see in the electric tea kettle is gone.

We love this RO system with the remineralization. We've owned it now for almost two years and have had no issues with it. I've recommended to friends and family who have also purchased this one and love it as well. Takes up very little room under the sink and the water tastes phenomenal. I will be upgrading to the 1000gpd when this one goes bad because we use it so much.

Slim design and easy installation, even for our small space. Affordable ROS, replacing our existing system, which required several filter changes in an inconvenient location. Highly recommended this product.

The TDS are too high when
The TDS are too high when first turning on the faucet. I either waste water waiting for it to go down or use it. Usually, i opt to waste the water or save it for something other than drinking or coffee since its too hard for my coffee/espresso machine and I don't like that taste.

Excellent water filter. Easy to install, works great, water tastes great, very satisfied. Not sure if other owners have this same experience: after turning on the Waterdrop faucet, the TDS first displays the incominng water TDS (around 300 in my area), then after a second or so it changes to the filtered TDS level -- as it should. In my case, the filtered level is always low (usually around 20). But, then the readings immediately start to go UP, until they reach 150-200, then they start coming down again. I usually wait until it comes back down to around 50 before I start filling my water bottle, but that typically means I've run 20 -30 seconds of water down the drain. I'm assuming it must take a little time for the RO filter to get up to speed. It's an odd "feature" of this system, but one I can live with.

I like the size of the unit
I like the size of the unit resulting in more room under the sink, and that the volume of water to be treated is not limited. Only a minor annoyance is the delay when turned on and the noise of the pump. Otherwise it works just fine.
