Description
WaterWipes was created by a father, inspired by a daughter. Our founder developed WaterWipes after his newborn suffered from bad diaper rash, and he realized skin this pure needs care that’s just as pure. So, he created the world’s purest wipes to help protect his child and help other parents do the same for theirs. Now families around the world trust pure and simple WaterWipes for all kinds of messes. These plastic-free wipes are gentle on the planet, and they’re clinically proven to be kind on baby’s skin, giving parents the confidence to help protect their children in the purest way possible.

If used for changing diapers/nappies we recommend disposing of your normal waste.†
†The viscose wipes satisfied the requirement of EN 13432, ASTM D6400, and ISO 17088 when independently tested under simulated home and industrially compostability processes. The wipes successfully fulfilled all aspects of laboratory testing namely [chemical characteristics, biodegradation, disintegration and ecotoxicity]. Please check country specific waste management practices to determine available disposal options and if composting is facilitated. Wipes soiled during diaper changes should not be composted. Q: Can I use the Oxo Tot Perfect Pull Wipe Dispenser with Water Wipes? I'm concerned about bacteria.
A: We don't use that one specifically but one that came with our diaper bag and have had no issues. I will say that at times the issue we have is that they are difficult to dispense BUT I do not mind at all because we absolutely love these wipes!!!
submitted byVero - 6 years agoA: Yes, that's what we've used in our home for 2 years without any issues. We have one in the kitchen for messy meals and one for dirty diapers in the changing area. Both filled with WaterWipes.

Q: New label includes (contains trace of benzalkonium chloride). Why have you added a potentially toxic ingredient. I believe bc is banned in Europe. Used WW in past and bc wasn't listed.
A: We can reassure you that the only thing we have changed is removing the plastic from the wipe material. The old material was made using polyester (plastic) and viscose, the new material is now 100% viscose. We have not changed or introduced anything new to the formulation, we use the same water, purified in the same way, with the same drop of fruit extract we have used since WaterWipes were first created, that is including the trace listed on the back of every pack before and after the change in material. Benzalkonium Chloride is deemed safe by the EU Cosmetics Regulation at levels of 0.1% (EC 1223/2009). As our product contains a fraction of this maximum limit, within the fruit extract which makes up for 0.1% of our product, it is safe for newborn babies and furthermore is fully compliant with the regulations. If you wish to discuss further, please contact our customer care team on info@waterwipes.com.

Q: What is the shelf life of unopened wipes? I am planning to stock up for baby's arrival
A: WaterWipes carry a 24 month shelf life. Every retailer will have different stock with different expiry dates, so we would recommend looking at these in store before purchasing or ordering online closer to your due date. Congratulations too from us here at WaterWipes.

Q: hello my latest batch has a faint chemical odor - is this normal?
A: We updated our wipe material to 100% viscose, which is a renewable, plant-based material. Some folks have noticed the natural smell of the material, as we don’t add any artificial fragrances or ingredients to mask the natural smells in our product. The smell experienced is likely a combination of the wipe material, the formulation (water and a drop of fruit extract) and the manufacturing process. Each pack of WaterWipes is hermetically sealed, which means it is completely airtight, and as a result smell is strongest upon initial opening of the pack.
