Weleda Skin Food Original Ultra-Rich Cream is the holy grail moisturizer to tackle dry, rough skin. A: I find it to be quite greasy so I, as an oily-combo skin person, would not be able to wear it during the day. However, it's the most amazing night cream and eye cream I've ever used. If you have tried heavy occlusive creams and still felt "dehydrated" then this is for you! A little goes a long way. While I see they answered and said it gets absorbed quickly, I do not have that experience, which is actually why I like this product so much. Good luck!

As the name suggests, Skin Food Light is a lighter version of Skin Food Original. Depending on your skin type and usage occasion, you can choose between Skin Food Original (nourishes dry to very dry skin) and Skin Food Light (nourishes dry skin, quickly absorbed and ideal for on the go or during warm weather conditions). Its amazing! If you don’t like strong scents i wouldn’t recommend, it smells heavily of lavender and rosemary but if you don’t mind like me then you will LOVE it. My skin feels so hydrated and i get frequent dry patches and this is the only moisturizer that helped it, the texture is nice and thick and doesn’t feel awfully greasy. Definitely a must have for the winter!

But this after Bella Hadid but broke me out
I bought this after seeing Bella hadid like it but honestly, I didn’t like it at all. When you look at the ingredient list, it contains a natural beeswax that can easily clog your pores. If you live in a location with humidity then it really isn’t a good match. If you live in a really dry location then it might work better for you. Additionally, you’re getting a very small amount for the size of the bottle. I think there’s plenty of great alternatives.

very hydrating
this moisturizer cream has helped with my dry spots I highly recommend it! it is thick but once you rub it starts to melt. They do have a light weight option but I prefer this one feels more hydrated. I have combination skin and my husband oily and we both really enjoy this moisturizer

My best secret
I’ve been using this for a couple of years now, and it’s hands down the best for really dry skin. It replaced all the pricier moisturizers I used to rely on, nothing compares. It's the holy grail I just can't live without!
My face and hands love this cream. My hands can get really dry, really fast and it hurts. A lot of times I have to put lotion on them and even the ones that claim to be dermotologist recommeneded or safe for sensitive skin have been known to hurt or sting. This one does not do that at all. It is calming and moisturizing. I layer it on at night and it's like a soft blanket on my knuckles and wrists where can get especially dry. It feels cool to the touch and is thick at first but melts right inot my skin. I even use it as a second layer on top of my regular moisturizer in the colder months, as well as a base layer on my lips at night. It really works wonders and can be used all over. It's the holy grail I just can't live without!

Perfect for dry winter skin
I love this product, it is my go to winter face cream. Once the heat kicks on my skin dries out so badly. This is incredibly thick so it needs to be warmed in your fingers or I like to mix with a few drops of rosé oil. It takes a bit to soak in but is well worth it. It does have a bit of a citrus fragrance which could bother some people with sensitive skin.

Great as a hand cream -- Healed my eczema!
I got this product initially to use as a face moisturizer but this is a very rich, thick cream and my acne-prone skin hated this. Not wanting to waste the product, I began using it on my hands and after a few days I noticed this cleared up the eczema patches I had on my palms. I now reach for this stuff anytime I feel a flare up coming on. It's truly so nourishing and the scent is pleasant enough. I will sometimes spot treat dry patches on my face with this as well (especially during the winter months!), but unfortunately was just too heavy to use on the whole face. Still really glad I bought this and will likely repurchase! The bottle seemed a little small at first but because it is so thick and creamy it has lasted me several months.
