West Bend 3lbs Breadmaker

I was really excited to have found this model because of the horizontal bread pan and the delayed start feature. Unfortunately, the basics don’t hold up as well as I expected. The temperature appears to be off as bread won’t rise as well in this machine compared to other bread machines I’ve owned. As a result, the loaves come out pretty misshapen. The bread pan is also finicky to seat in the machine and the machine makes loud clicking noises during the knead cycles. My low end Hamilton Beach bread machine was a work horse. This does the job but the bread is dense in comparison.

I ordered my bread maker and it’s a great deal!! I love the easy way to use the machine and size. The only thing I suggest is to have more options of recipes in the book.

The first loaf was made on the overnight delay timer, about 7 hours. The machine is perfectly silent, and the bread results were very good. The only problem is that the recipes are not detailed, and there are no instuctions for making 3 lb loaf.

They come out tall and fluffy every time. The dual kneading blades mix the dough well, and the settings are simple and customizable. I started w a French loaf and so far so good! The machine isn’t to heavy, makes a nice size loaf and is a good fit for a bread lover.

I used one of the recipes in the instructional booklet and chose a light color. As it can see, it turned out amazing! There are so many options on this bread machine, I can’t wait to try them all! And even though this machine is very large, it isn’t heavy at all. It will make it easy to store in a cabinet and pull it out as needed.

Its amazing! Bread comes out so much better thus way then by hand.

It didn't come with recipes, but I found some online. I like it because it's not huge, although it does take up a bit of space. I'll be able to make my own bread for Christmas.

So this product just rocked my world. It can make so many types of bread, comes either way recipes and even bakes the bread too! I didn’t mind the noise level and cleaning was simple as well.

Having recipes made it fool proof. The only negative is that the nonstick pan scratches easily! I dripped the mixing blade and it scratched the inside wall.

Great machine. Easy to use. Two paddles and the horizontal loaf are two great features. Makes bread making simple.

I have used it over 5 times since receiving it and made different types of loaves- white bread, Brioche, sweet bread, gluten free bread. It has all turned out beautifully and it’s so EASY!! Jsut dump the ingredients, set it, and wallah! Beautiful and delicious bread!
