Q: I just received this in the mail, how do you keep small treats inside without falling out?
submitted by Pedigree - 4 years ago
A: Our Twist Toss is traditionally used with bully stick-type treats. If you'd like to use smaller treats, we recommend using your pups favorite spread or paste, adding the smaller treats on top and freezing it for a long-lasting snack!

My pup likes to roll this around because it rolls in random directions. I add treats inside and she's always excited when it comes out!

My lab puppy is crazy about this toy, with or without treats inside! Not too difficult to get treats from it and he loves that it bounces in all directions. Thumbs up from me!👍

My dog was able to rip off small chunks of the material in less than an hour of play/chewing.

Very durable and strong. It's a 2 in 1 toy. It's a ball and it's stimulating. I can add treats and carrots to make it a puzzle. Would definitely recommend.

My dog had it for just a few minutes and she chewed the top off and was chewing it like gum. I had to dig in her mouth to get it out. I'm so disappointed.

My dog destroyed this in under 30 minutes. Small pieces of the toy were coming off in her mouth and I had to throw it away. Very disappointed and do not recommend as a chew toy.

My little Westie chewed up this toy within a few minutes. Do not buy it as it is not safe. Your dog can easily aspirate the small pieces.

Very tough, not so flexible rubber. The hole through the center is an even, smooth cylinder. I honestly wish it had some texture or shape to the inside so that a treat stayed in it better, but the random bounce is fun to play with.

But not invincible to serious chewing. Pieces are already coming off around the house. But can anything that's not rock hard be truly invincible to my poodle? Outlook not good.

It's fun to chew on and is so bouncy! Cute colors. Good for putting a little peanut butter in and freezing.

My 3lb chihuahua mix is utterly obsessed with this toy. I was initially nervous this may be a little too large for small mouth but she is easily able to move this all around not to mention hide it in the background and magically make it appear when she needs a good gnawing. It is a bit heavier than I expected, but as mentioned, isn't too big of an issue as the pup can carry it around in her mouth.

We learned pretty early on that our pug had trouble finishing an entire kong because she can't reach the end of the toy with her tongue. We decided to try out a twist toss as a kong alternative, and we'll never look back! The twist toss rolls around so it's more fun for our pup, and she finishes her treat every time :) We have one in almost every color now, because they're so great to have on hand!

Bully sticks are expensive. The small Twist Toss is just the right size for firmly holding onto 6" Jack and Pup bully sticks so that my dog's able to gnaw them safely down and hardly any goes to waste. I'm very happy with how well it works. I use small needle-nose pliers to get the stub back out when it's mostly gone.
