This pitcher has a been a great tool for daily daycare prep. Daily pumped milk goes into the pitcher. In the morning it's easy to measure and pour out milk into patches to send with the baby to daycare. The jar is easy to clean in the dishwasher. This has helped save a lot of fridge space as well compared to many small storage bottles in the fridge.

When I'm too tired amor have had a long day at work and haven't gotten around to washing bottles, it has made it easy for me to pour the milk into and then distribute between bottles. Glass is nice and thick, doesn't Crack when put in the dishwasher like other brands

Do not buy. We purchased two of these jars and both have failed. The first one the sidewall broke open just setting it on the counter, and the second one also a piece of the sidewall broke open while stirring it. Made a huge mess on our counter and a huge mess all over one of our vintage rugs.

I did not like that the silicone ring around the lid lifted up at some point and got moldy. Had to throw a pitchers worth of breast milk away.

I bought a couple of these pitchers for daily formula storage. After three months of continued use and using with our sterilizer it cracked. I could not find info on whether it was shatterproof glass - I do not believe it is and I do not recommend sterilizing.
