A: Hi Sherry56666 - Wilton Ultra Bake Professional bakeware is dishwasher safe, however, to keep pans performing their best do not use dishwasher detergent tablets as the concentrated cleansers will damage the finish. Also avoid cleaning with abrasive cleansers or scouring pads, we recommend using only those products which are labeled “safe for cleaning non-stick surfaces. For best results, hand wash in wash in warm, soapy water before first and after each use.

This pan measures 9 inches across but the cake that bakes is 8 inches. This is not a 9 inch pan. I would not recommend this item if you are looking for a 9 inch square cake.

The size, weight, and sturdiness of the pan was exactly what I was looking for so I got two after finding these at the store. However, after just using them twice, I discovered the rolled edges of the pan holds water after washing and rusts! After an overnight drying, I went to put them away and they dripped brown water when tilted. So GROSS! Under closer inspection, I can see rusting on underside of the edging on both pans but one was definitely worst than the other. I hand-washed only and did not use a dishwasher or any abrasive sponges or chemicals. I’m throwing these away and not going to risk feeding my family rust particles! (There was also some chipping of the non-stick. Since it was on the bottom of the pan though, I wasn’t worried about it but thought I should note it anyways.)
