Women's 30D Semi Opaque Control Top Tights - A New Day™ Soft Brown

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these nylons for my sister who is 5’9” and 130lbs wearing a size M/L. These are maximum support around the waistband and high waisted which is great for postpartum moms like me. The color is a very soft brown which looks great under any outfit. I wore these with a burnt orange skirt and it was the perfect fall outfit. The price was very affordable. They are thin so just put them on with caution like any nylon to not snag them. It is advertised as a "control top" tight, and although I really don't think that's accurate, they do seem to stay up fine and fit easily. I usually wear a size medium (sometimes large) bottoms, and I did order a L/XL for this, so maybe they were a bit too loose to be tummy controlling. The material itself is nice, and the toes seem to be reinforced better than some of the other products I've bought from this brand. I received an incentive to write this review.

The soft brown color is really gentle and flattering with any outfit or shoe! I usually wear between a size 1x-2x, so i ordered a size 1x-2x and they fit perfectly…making them true to size! I haven't been able to find great quality stockings for my legs in a long time but these definitely get the job done. I love that they are not too thin but thick enough so they don't rip or tear easily. The also run true to size and fit perfectly!

The size small/medium tights come in 30D, meaning they have a 30-denier thickness—a unit that measures opacity, strength, thickness, and warmth. At this level, the tights are slightly sheer on the calves and thighs but appear denser on thinner areas like the ankles. They come in a soft brown color tone, are easy to put on, and slip off effortlessly. I wear them comfortably with dresses and skirts.

These are fairly decent nylons. I would say that are about average quality, fairly comparable to others on the market. The size I tried on was the M/L and they fit well. I normally wear a size 6 or medium bottoms. The color was darker than I thought it was going to be though. It was labeled as soft brown and it was quite a bit darker than I thought it was going to be. Overall though these are decent for the price!

These tights are too thin. Very easy to rip because they don’t have enough stretch. A little too sheer in my opinion. I gave them three stars though because they are comfortable and are not itchy, but overall not my favorite. They also run a little small.

Basic tights! These control top tights would be a great go-to for everyday. The control top isn’t too tight but gives that smoothness one hopes for in tights. The brown color is nice and opaque! Great option for fall in my opinion.

I can’t wait till it gets cool enough to start wearing these tights again. I can never find the right shade of brown when looking for tights. They’re either too dark or too light. These ones are brown, but they are shear which look great with my tan skirt. The toes don’t have the usual reinforced toe that is bumpy, this one is is smooth the entire way down you wouldn’t know there was a reinforcement unless you look very closely. No more wasting money after one use on tights.

I love this pajama shirt. It’s very soft. I think you could really use it as every day shirt too not just a pajama shirt. The material is very stretchy. I like my shirts loose fitting, but if you like them tighter I would buy down a size because the medium stretches out really far.

I got these for my daughter. She loves them. They’re comfortable and don’t slide down. They fit her dark academia vibe really well. She wouldn’t typically go for brown, but it is a great option for when black or nude aren’t quite hitting the mark. Would get again.

I sized up in these in hopes of the length being long enough but unfortunately these just aren’t made for tall girls. I couldn’t even get these pulled up lol I’m 5’10.5” for reference. If you’re way shorter, these will be great! The color is a nice brown and these aren’t itchy uncomfortable!
