Weird but effective. Definitely full coverage briefs and not cheeky. The cut is slightly off - not cheeky enough, not high waisted enough because the side seams are a bit too long. Dare I say these are a lil frumpy looking? The size is correct but puckers and gathers oddly at the seams.

Order your normal pant size, these do not run small like most bathing suits.

I always feel a bit nervous buying “teen” sizes (odd numbers) as I solidly wear a US women’s 14, large or extra large. I went on the side of caution and got this in a 1x. It fits well and gives me good coverage. It’s double lined and a happy shade of green.

Since having a few children I have always been intimidated by swimsuits but these bottoms made me feel really good! They are very much true to size or perhaps even a bit large, definitely don't size up. They fit very comfortably and gave the perfect amount of coverage on my backside, they aren't cheeky at all but also not super oversized on back coverage. The high waist is great, I am tall and thick and they went right above my belly button. I carry a good bit of my weight in my stomach but they actually made me feel really good and didn't make me look bigger like some bottoms do. I highly recommend them!
