The table is crooked, the way the holes are drilled it’s impossible to put it together without it visibly leaning. That doesn’t even begin to address the cracks and bubbles in the paper veneer. We live in a city where returning it isn’t a viable option, I’m just so glad we paid half of what it’s currently listed for

Hearth & Hand furniture has become an exhausting experience. This is my third purchase this year with defects. Packing up and returning furniture is hard. I've dealt with chipped wood, scratches, dirt ground into the wood, odd stains that look like water stains, table tops not matching legs, holes not lining up, and holes simply not drilled at all, which you can see in this pic. It's no longer worth the trouble to purchase this brand of furniture. I give up. Returned this table to the store.

It’s a very solid substantial piece. It’s a tad darker than the picture but it still works for me. I love the rattan look on the lower shelves. It gives it some visual interest so you don’t have to cover every inch of the shelf. I haven’t figured out everything to go on the shelves just yet.

I had high hopes but this thing was extremely frustrating to build. Wood wasn’t cut right leaving massive gaps between leg and surface. Can’t even connect one leg. Will be returning and never purchasing furniture from target again. Guess it’s worth the money to buy 100% real wood to begin with instead of this cheap knockoff. Do not recommend.

It's hard to find solid wood pieces that are affordable and this one fit the bill! The color is pretty light, almost a creamy wood tone. It arrived without any damage. It takes about maybe 20 min to assemble but it's fairly straight forward. It's pretty biggerthan what I thought it'd be so you will need another person to help move it around. The feet are adjustable so you can make it even. The shelf is a bit wobbly if you push it but not a big deal.
You need one.

This bookcase is fantastic! I have a very small space at the top of my stairs and wanted to fill it with something simple. This is the perfect size and quality, I put picture frame and decorations on it rather than books. Assembly was extremely simple, took about 30 min to put together by myself.
