Description
The Worx 3-3/8” AC Vesacut Saw takes big jobs and makes them easier. Traditional circular saws can be a hassle—you either need to bring the project to the saw, or you have to lug a big saw up the stairs or out to the garage and then keep it there. The Versacut is a grab-n-go circ saw with the power of a much larger tool. It all starts with the blade size. Not only does the reduced kerf give you more maneuverability, it also puts less strain on the motor than a full-size blade, so it can be spun faster. And that reduced strain significantly increases the life of the tool. Speaking of blades, we threw three into the box, one for sheet metal, one for wood, and one for ceramic tile (24 TCT, HSS, Diamond Grit). Also included is a hex key for easy blade changes, a parallel guide for straighter rip cuts, a vac adapter to keep your workspace cleaner, and a handy carrying bag so you can keep it all together when you’re bringing the Versacut on a job.
It’s only 3.5 lbs., so you can get into tighter places with this saw that you wouldn’t dream of going with a regular-sized circ saw. And that lighter weight makes it comfortable to use for extended periods. It also makes for the easiest plunge cuts you’ll ever perform. Very disappointed
I found this a very hard tool to get precise cuts as it jumps when starting so bad I can't hold it where the cut should begin. The blade cut is so hidden, I cannot see where the stop point is when I don't need to make a complete cut across the board. The handle angle ins not ergonomic and the angle is uncomfortable. The grip hurts my hand. I am so sorry I wasted the money on this saw. :(

Instructions are minimal
I just bought the saw and haven't used it yet, so my current review is incomplete. I will update my review after I get a chance to use it, but I haven't gotten that far because the instructions are minimal. For the most part, the instructions seem to consist of just illustrations with no explanation or written details. From the first illustration -- which I think is meant to tell the customer how to insert and remove the blades -- I can't figure out what it is trying to convey. If they update their instruction booklet to include ACTUAL text that details and explains how to use the tool -- that would be super. In the meantime, my saw just sits there looking pretty, but until I figure out what the drawing means I am stuck without using the saw!

Can’t use
My husband purchased this for me for Christmas and today i needed to use it for the first time. I can’t push down hard enough to cut through a thin piece of wood. My husband tried it and the same thing. Too hard to hold down. Wish i had asked for a different brand.

Disappointed
Easy to use but very disappointed in the accuracy, the blade doesn’t line up with the v in the base so nearly impossible to cut accurately. Did I get a dud?

Great Little Saw
Been doing a TON of renovations around the house and needed a small circular saw. This one was the perfect size. Able to plunge cut 1" yet small. Plenty of power. I haven't stalled it yet. I thought the laser guide would be unnecessary but it's really useful! Seems to be holding up perfectly. Only time will tell. The quality seems very sturdy so far. Let's hope I don't need the warranty ;-) Only thing I would add is a lockout to the plunge so that I could start/cut without having to push down the entire time.

The right amount of power

Easy to handle
I brought this to remodel my bathroom, working in tight areas. Laser was an additional feature that made use easier.

Mainly using this for electrical installation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great for cutting boxes into tiled walls etc and with the dust extraction leaves very little to clean up afterward and all without damaging existing tiles, would be nice to see a tile disk for this to cut a bit smoother, along with a HSS disk for light steal / stainless sheet would say its powerful enough for it, two months on and its lasting well been worked hard. stacks up well against the bigger brands. I'm sure ill find many other uses as itme goes on very handy to have in the Tool Box

Awesome Saw

Easy to use
Recently purchased the Versacut 3 3/8 compact Circular Saw with Laser.... Love it... Light weight.. simple to use since I am a small woman and love the way the blade retracts. Very easy to assemble and couldn't believe how easy to use.

- It is not cutting where the laser is pointing! - it would be nice if the blade guard could be locked in the blade-exposed position also currently you must always push the device down to expose the blade

Fills a need for precision cuts
I’ve had this saw for about 4 years, and only use it occasionally . However, this is a really valuable tool when doing precision work! I’m a “mostly-retired” tile contractor. This is perfect for cut-outs for plugs& switches, sink cut- outs, etc. where you need clean smooth & controlled cut. The plunge-cut capability is awesome, but make sure you hold on tight, cause this little guy has a surprising amount of torque! Practice on a scrap piece first so you know where your cut will be once the blade goes into the material... Lots of blade choices available, but for tile or stone, continuous-rim is a necessity! Buy the best blades you can find for it and you will be glad you did! JoeC
