Some Red Flags
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate membership was already claimed and the batteries that came with it wasnt sealed in plastic. The controller showed some wear, still worked fine but when I buy something new I expect it to be new. NOTE: if you cant use your controller on PC make sure to install drivers.

Beware of buying this bundle with the adapter!
I usually don't type reviews, but I'm this case this will be the first and last review I'll do on Target.com. Recently, I bought this controller+adapter for a few dollars less for something to play my PC games with. When the controller arrived, inside was a Xbox Game Pass code for Ultimate. Basically for a month's worth. The problem is, when I came around to redeem the code, it was already in use. That couldn't have been right since no one in my house has a XBOX Live account. So, I called XBOX support first, they couldn't help and told me to contact Target. So, the next day I did. Target customer support gaslit me saying since the trial code wasn't in the item description, it was a mistake to have it. I tried to explain to them that it doesn't have to be in the item description because you'll usually find trial codes in either game cases or in this instance, inside a controller box. They did not believe me no matter what I said. In fact, one of them supposedly hung up on me and did not call back to rectify the situation. That alone made me want my money back. So beware buying this and getting duped by a possible used XBOX Game Pass code because Target will gaslight you and will not help!

Thumbstick controller drift after only a couple months
After a couple months of very moderate usage, the left thumbstick is exhibiting "controller drift" in the vertical direction. As a result, the controller is basically unusable. At this point I am just outside the 90-day warranty window and the Target return window, so I am stuck with it. I gave it two stars since the wireless adapter has been working great with existing various Xbox One controllers.

Worked fine for me
Like the new style controller. Light but sturdy. Grippy. Nice matte finish won't get too greasy. It installed without issue on my Win 10 gaming PC. I think it pulled a driver update from the update service though. Make sure your configured to get automatic updates(or manually trigger the update and check the optional driver updates).

Don't recommend
My controller has a mind of its own. It randomly disconnects when I'm using it. When I'm playing a FPS some buttons don't work but works on other games, also it moves my character by itself. It's extremely annoying.

No windows 10 drivers for the wireless adapter. Doesnt work.
Controller worked fine, wireless adapter did not. I updated windows 10 AND the controller itself via xbox accessories app in windows BEFORE installing the controller and adapter, and that didnt work. windows said it didnt have any drivers for the adapter, and microsoft claims the drivers are embedded in the adapter itself. It's beyond stupid for a simple device like a wireless adapter not work for the intended platform it was made for. New or not, this was a massive failure of quality control at microsoft and a waste of my time.
