Q: so i want to become a streamer and i was wondering if this is a good headset for streaming

submitted by alex - 1 month ago
  • A: Hi alex, thanks for reaching out about Xbox Wired Gaming Stereo Headset for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One These headphones do have some features that would be good for streaming, but also may be missing some features you would want. These do have good sound quality, are light and comfortable to wear for extended times, and have a clear microphone. However it does not have the specialized type of microphone that is made for streaming and making sure you come through as clear as possible with features like built-in pop filters or sidetone monitoring. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Is the cable durable? Because my only problem with wired headsets is the cable being too fragile.

submitted by RageGaming - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi RageGaming, thanks for reaching out about Xbox Wired Gaming Stereo Headset for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One. The cable is very durable. The way to avoid breakage is to manage the tension of your cable during playback. You should never see your cable turning a 90-degree angle directly where it's plugged in. The internal wires are straining to maintain their connection with the plug, and you may be pulling them away, whether you mean to or not. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

Q: Because it's a 3.5 mm jack, I want to use this for playing PS2 and Gamecube. I can connect the headset directly into my plasma tv. Will the mic integration mess with my sound, or will it be ok?

submitted by Random guy - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi Random guy, thanks for reaching out about Xbox Wired Gaming Stereo Headset for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One. Yes this is just an Xbox themed stereo headset. If you have any additional questions, we welcome you to contact MyTGTtech at 833-848-8324 every day, between 7am-11pm CST.

submitted by JT - 3 years ago
  • A: Hi, JT! Regarding your question about the Xbox Wired Gaming Stereo Headset for Xbox Series X|S/Xbox One: This is listed as compatible with Xbox consoles only by the manufacturer and cannot be guaranteed to work with other systems. Wish they honestly had a wireless setting but they work well and the volume is great. You gotta turn up the settings on the Xbox and turn the volume up on the headphones using the right ear so they do work well I haven’t had any issues

Very good - 1 year ago
The Xbox headset stands as a crucial accessory for gamers, providing a highly immersive and communicative gaming experience. Its utility extends beyond mere audio output, offering crystal-clear voice communication that enhances multiplayer interactions. The headset's noise-canceling microphone ensures clear and distortion-free communication, allowing for effective coordination with teammates. Comfort plays a pivotal role, and top-tier Xbox headsets often feature ergonomic designs with adjustable headbands and cushioned ear cups, ensuring prolonged gaming sessions without discomfort. The intuitive controls, whether integrated into the headset or connected to the controller, allow users to adjust volume, mute the microphone, or balance game and chat audio seamlessly. Sound quality is a key aspect, and high-quality Xbox headsets deliver rich and detailed audio, enhancing the gaming environment with immersive soundscapes. This is particularly important for games that rely on spatial awareness and directional audio cues. Wireless connectivity options, when available, provide freedom of movement without compromising audio quality. The compatibility with various Xbox consoles and often with Windows PCs adds to the headset's versatility. In summary, a good Xbox headset is a vital component for gamers, offering not just superior audio but also comfort, effective communication, and a holistic gaming experience. Its contribution to the overall gaming setup makes it a worthwhile investment for those seeking to elevate their gameplay.

Headset is pretty good not cheap but headset does start to hurt on the top of head and if you have big ears or even glasses the cushion isn't good. They start to hurt after maybe 2 hours of gaming for me. Sound is really good but certain games doesn't have much bass. I went to the settings to fix the audio and it still needs a little more bass. Mic is okay not the best. Good headset for a if you need a backup or waiting for the expensive headsets to go on sale

Great sounding and way better build quality than the previous versions of Xbox’s first party headset. The volume control is great and it is very comfortable. I returned it though because the microphone was not long enough to reach my mouth and my friends could not hear me. Turning off noise suppression helped this, but it also made everything else me audible too. If you’re doing any sort of Xbox parties (and are soft spoken like me), you’re better off looking elsewhere.

Excellent audio quality once you EQ them using the (paid) Dolby app. Otherwise they sound quite flat. Even so, the mic quality is horrible and there’s no way to fix it. Like other reviews, my friends can’t really hear me because the mic is too low or sounds muffled. It makes this headset pretty useless for it’s intended purpose. Microsoft needs to address this either with a mic gain adjustment slider (like PS5 has) or just recall them. To make sure mine wasn’t defective, I actually exchanged it for another one and it’s exactly the same. My friends can’t hear me well.
