Description
The Y Velo Flippa is one of the most versatile bikes out there for preparing kids for life on two wheels.
The Four Ways to Ride the Y Velo Flippa:
1. The Y Velo Flippa push trike mode provides easy steering so that you can guide them as they find their feet and get used to the feeling of riding a Flippa tricycle.
2. Help your kids practice their skills and turn them into little racers. A trike will give them the comfort of three wheels while allowing them to gain confidence and the steering skills that will follow them throughout their future bike riding days.
3. Turn the Tlippa tricycle into a balance bike with push handle. By folding the back two wheels together and reinserting the parent’s handle, you’ll help your children progress from tricycle to bicycle with the confidence that mum or dad are there to keep them steady.

Q: Does this trike comes with footrests and pedals? The item pictures seem to indicate that the trike does not include footrests, but customer review pictures do show footrests on the trike...

Q: Can you isolate the kids steering so you arent fighting against their erratic steering?? Or is it that you can BOTH steer at the same time?

Q: Is there an option to create a footrest with the pedals (directly under the frame) before the child is able to reach the pedals? What height does the child need to be to reach the pedals on the wheel?

A: Hi Tina, Unfortunately there is no option to create a footrest with the pedals. The age range is for 2-5 year olds and the suggested user height minimum is 30inch/76cm.

3 stars because I bought two and they do not work properly in trike mode! The wheels have a strange shape and it makes them crab walk in tricycle mode. I’m not sure if we need replacement back wheels or if it is just a poor design. Because of this we can’t push the kids on them or the bikes struggle to roll and then tip. Very strange for a tricycle.

This is the second one of these we’ve purchased. We got the blue for our daughter last year and now that our son is ready for a “big boy tricycle” we decided to get him the red! It’s a great trike, sturdy and easy to steer, the kids love it. I like that it has the option for footrests when they’re still a little too small to pedal

We bought two as we have twin great grandchildren. This is an ideal trike for a growing toddler. Safe and easy to construct, attractive and functional. No hard corners or metal bits to do harm to the user, and looks as if it can grow with the youngster,

don't waste time with the directions. Look up videos online. my 3 year old is average to tall for his age. this just fits him in trike mode.

I assembled it very smoothly - no Krypton Factor puzzles here! (Only people of a certain age will get that pun!) Any misgivings I might have had were quickly put to bed. This is a great piece of kit! My grandson loves it and his parents love it! Very safe and easy to manage. I would definitely recommend it for toddlers who love being on the move!

Great bike bought for my 2 Year old daughters birthday. Can’t quite reach the peddles but can easily push her along and steer at the same time. Really easy to put together and simple to switch between trike and balance bike. Really great bike that can adapt as our little one grows, fantastic investment.

We chose this trike for our 2 yr old granddaughter's birthday because of the versatility. The adult push handle works really well if she doesn't want to pedal, wheels are great on non-paved surfaces, and seat is adjustable. We also chose it because it is shorter than most other trikes which enables her to reach the pedals better. Overall, great bike!

My 3 year-old daughter absolutely loves this! We mainly use it as the trike. That being said, my daughter is VERY tall for her age (she wears 5T). It’s way too big for my average-sized 2 year-old boy (his feet can’t reach the pedals). Overall great quality and no complaints, but probably better suited to bigger kids!
