A: Thanks for asking! The Dohm Natural is a fan-based unit that will require a power source to operate and does not have a battery feature for cordless or charging capabilities. However, it does offer amazing endless hours of use!

A: Thanks for asking the Dohm Elite will offer a variety of Pink Noise sounds to choose from! You can hear the different options by changing the fan speed to high or low (Power Button) and adjusting the tone by rotating the outer shell to open or close the vents of the unit.

Is this thing a joke? There's no way this is the claimed 64.3 db. Not even close. This will not block out anything and it makes an annoying noise.

I just bought this a couple months ago. Every time I turn it on it smells like burning plastic. I assumed it was the newness of the machine, but after a little research online-I discovered that the smell should have dissipated within a week or so.

We forgot our usual white noise machine (that we’ve had for more than 6 years) on a trip and had to buy this without really looking at the reviews. This was great for two nights and now it has an irritating rattle. I wish we’d read reviews and skipped this absurdly expensive, worthless machine.

I have slept with a box fan running at night for years in the summer and a humidifier in the winter. I decided to start looking for a sleep machine instead, but was skeptical because most have loops and weird background noises. After researching and reading reviews, I chose the Dohm because reviewers said it sounds like a fan. This sleep machine is fantastic it's so easy to use and the sound is absolutely perfect.

We can’t live without this! As a family of four, each bedroom has one. We pack them when we travel, and it’s usually first on my packing list. During the summer we sleep with windows open, so it helps block out the sounds of crickets. Definitely needed it you sleep with a companion (human or dog!) who is a loud breather. I’ve had mine for at least two years and it’s still going strong.

One of the best things I've ever purchased! Love the white noise of a fan while sleeping but not when the weather is cold. Found this when searching for alternatives. I didn't need a bunch of different sounds, just something that sounds like a fan. This one is perfect, wish I found it sooner!

Just get it. We’ve used ours every night since my daughter was an infant and she’s 6.5 now. I don’t know what we would’ve done without it. She’s slept peacefully in her crib through the night since she was 3 months old. I get this for everyone I know that’s having a baby.

I've been using one of these for about 8 years. I've used a fan to sleep since I was young, not always practicle. I've tried various electronic white noise machines and they always have an odd undersound. I happened upon this and it is perfect, an actual fan inside. You can adjust the sound by turning the top cover. I run it on the lowest speed setting which is perfect beside the bed. I just bought another as a backup, nothing lasts forever. I wanted to write this after seeing the negative reviews. In my opinion it couldn't be any better.

Makes a nice white noise and for sure mimics a box fan type noise. It wasn’t loud enough to drown out the road noise from the hotel.

We are saddened to hear that the Dohm is too quiet. For the loudest setting flip the switch down to the high setting and open all vents. Also you can move the unit closer to you such as on the nightstand. In some situations placing the unit between you and the sound you are masking works well. You can also try placing it closer to the window to see what works best for you.

This sound machine has simple adjustments that provide many sound levels with it's fan. Unlike prerecorded sounds, there is no looping sound track you'll start to notice. I took off one star because it had a new electronics smell out of the box, that took a month to dissipate.

Actually bought it for my 46 year old husband. Which didn’t help him at all- he still couldn’t fall asleep. It wasn’t soothing enough for him. Returned it. I actually thought it was annoying to sleep with. Regarding to the actual machine- easy to use with many options.

This is perfect white noise - natural sound like a large fan but without the fan. Other machines are recordings this is not, uses natural air flow. Low and high setting. Love it!

This is the one you want! Uses a real fan versus electric noise. Had one for my kids 18 years ago. Sent a new one to my kid at college just a few months ago. I still have his nursery one that I now use to help neutralize the sound of my husbands sleep machine. I also keep one in the guest room since our parents tend to retire before us when they visit and I want them to sleep well. So this is a product that you can use for a long time!!!

Was having a war with the significant other about the fan going & drying his eyes out 🙄. I was using a white noise app on my phone that was killing my battery the past few days. Anyways, best $50 invested. Just what I needed, silence at night is to loud. Thank God for this.

No real issues with the machine, however I found the machine too quiet for my needs. It generates a decent amount of heat running the fan, so if used in a small space it will start warming up the room. Lastly, while there is some control to the sound the fan makes, it's much duller than my baby prefers. He seems to prefer a brighter sounding white noise it was unable to generate. I had to exchange it for a white noise machine with a wider variety of sounds.
