Q: Why does the cover that comes with the cough syrup only have 10mL/ 2tsps labeled when the recommended dose is 5mL/ 1 tsp?

A: To answer your question, the recommended dosage is 2 teaspoons (10 mL) daily. You should take: - 1 teaspoon (5 mL) during the daytime - 1 teaspoon (5 mL) at nighttime Please take as needed, but do not exceed 2 servings within 24 hours. If you are using both daytime and nighttime products, ensure that your total does not exceed 2 servings of Cough + Mucus in 24 hours.

Zarbees cough
My 5 year old refuses to even try this based on the color (dark brown/purple). Giving 5 stars though because it DOES taste delicious and absolutely helps. I take this as an adult now because of how much it helps especially when your throat hurts. The honey soothes your throat a lot. The taste is a combo of honey and elderberry which is amazing. I wish target would carry the adult zarbees!!

Quality and value together
We have purchased this pack more than once for the price and quality. Love the cleaner ingredients that help soothe symptoms day or night. The bee hive lids are cute and functional for measuring, but they don’t stay on very well and get lost easily.

The absolute best cough syrup for toddlers!
My daughter recently came down with a runny nose and a bad cough that was keeping her up all night! We were using Hyland’s Cough and Mucus but it only helped 1/2 the night and then she was up and couldn’t fall back to sleep again… the next night I gave her the Zarbees night cough syrup and she slept through the whole night! 10/10 I will never buy anything else!

I’ve found there aren’t many dye free options in this category, so to find one with great ingredients and great flavor is truly amazing. The packaging is great, the little hive shaped cap has measurements inside. I do wish the cap was able to be stored a bit better on the bottles, but overall I think they function well. A great product I’ll be sure to repurchase again and again with a little one in school!

The liquid is pretty thick, so keep that in mind. My kids don’t mind the taste. They like berry flavor. I love the ingredients, especially the elderberry and chamomile. Overall, I think this is a great set, just be aware it has honey in it.

The day syrup helped calm his cough without making him sleepy, and the night one actually let him get some decent rest. I like that it’s made with natural stuff—like honey and herbs—and doesn’t have any weird chemicals or junk in it. The flavor’s decent too; my kid didn’t fight me on it.
