I expected a flimsier plastic but it is tough - reminds me of the plastic bags for fruits and veggies at the grocery store. The seal is the same as the original ziplocs.

I often have to pack bags of dog food for my pups, but hate all the waste produced by the little baggies. These compostable baggies work just as intended and much more environmentally-friendly. Will be making a switch!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size is a bit small so it just fit a turkey sandwich and 2 dates that I packed for my hike. I LOVE the concept of compostable ziplock bags. It’s a product frequently used and disposed by Americans. I do wish it was more affordable. But I am so thankful for the introduction of this. It stored my sandwhich well and was zip locked all the way. Highly recommend.
