Description

The dent resistant plastic body Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer features micro computerized technology, which allows the rice cooker to 'think' for itself and make fine adjustments to temperature and heating time to cook perfect rice every time. Easy-to-read LCD control panel with clock and timer functions. The black thick inner cooking pan and heating system provide even heating for perfectly cooked rice. The detachable power cord makes storage easy. Accessories include rice measuring cup, rinse-free rice measuring cup, nonstick rice spatula and spatula holder. Q: Does the warm function constant

  • A: The automatic "keep warm" function will stay on for 12 hrs, and you can extend it for an additional 4 hrs but only BEFORE the 12 hr keep warm function ends. You extend it by simply pushing the "Keep Warm" button once again, and then the EXTENDED KEEP WARM light will come on. Check page 16 in the instructional manual. The manual for this models is available in several places online. *Note* if the temp of the rice becomes too low while it's in the "keep warm" function (below aprox 135 degrees) the "extend warm" function won't turn on.

  • A: You can select "quick cooking" by pressing "menu" prior to pressing "Cooking" which should cook your rice quicker. However, depends on the type of rice you are cooking as well, like brown rice.

    Reliable to the max

    Ive been using Zojirushi rice cooker for as long as I can remember. They are reliable consistent machines. Never disappoint. Ive recommended them to all my friends. I bought this one after mine old one broke after I dropped it for the third time. I will always come back to them

    Cannot Recommend Enough!

    I have been wondering about getting a rice cooker for a long time and hesitated mostly because of price. However, this rice cooker is most definitely worth it! It has fast cooking times, customizable features, and makes the best rice. If you are on the fence, don't be and buy this!

    Game-Changer for Perfect Rice!

    Power cord is missing - obviously already opened.

    This item was obviously already opened, which wouldn't have been so bad except that the power cord was missing. Now i can't turn it on. Target won't send a replacement power cord, so I have to return the whole thing. Guess this must be why the item was on sale - dishonest on the part of target to hide the face they send it with missing parts.

    No Alert When Rice is Finished Cooking
