30 minutes of heating isn't enough
Doesn't stay hot for long enough. Only 30 minutes of hot coffee doesn’t cut it for most work from home folks who need hot coffee for realistically a couple hours. Constantly reheating coffee in the microwave breaks done the integrity and taste.

Bad clock.
The clock doesn’t keep time. Looses about 15 minutes a day. I need to reset it everyday if I am going to use the timer. That aside, it does make a good cup.

Love this Coffee Maker
Coffee tastes so good, easy to use and best thing is the coffee maker pours and doesn't spill when filling the water or pouring coffee. Do yourself a favor and get the #6 cone coffee filters they fit perfectly and there are never grounds in your coffee!!

Good form and function
This coffeemaker is well designed and makes great coffee. Its elegant simplicity is appreciated, however, I do wish the burner would stay on longer than 30 minutes and as a result only giving it 4 stars. Otherwise, we are very happy with the purchase.

Poor quality
The coffee pot is made of a very thin glass and has now cracked twice. Zwilling doesn't sell a replacement pot, so no I would not buy again.

Brewing glitch
When the coffee maker works it is great. We regularly have to unplug the maker for up to 10 minutes so the maker resets. The reason for resetting is The coffee maker won’t start brewing when the start button is pushed. It just won’t engage brewing if it hasn’t been used for a couple days. The actual brewed coffee is very good and we are happy with that. The worry is that the unplugging trick won’t continue to work. The coffee make is only a couple months old and has had this problem from the very beginning.

Coffee only stays warm for 30 mins
I bought this coffee maker but would not buy it or recommend it. Makes good coffee but the hot plate only stays on for 30 minutes and there is no way to extend to longer. If you don’t drink the full pot right within a half hour it will go cold. So frustrating that this can’t be changed.

The coffee maker is exactly what I expected from a high end company. I love the design and how it looks in my kitchen! Programming instructions are easy to follow and I love the blooming function. The components are easy to clean and reassemble. Definitely recommend this product and will purchase other items in the near future.

Great tasting coffee! I bought this coffee maker to try to reduce plastic exposure while making coffee. This machine still has plastic but the coffee is delicious and it has streamlined my morning routine.

4 months Update from missing "published review"
Aug 2025: The water chamber is not removable, so I got used to washing and drying it by laying the machine on its side. Did a lot of testing to see if the funnel is making any difference, as described, but there was no significant difference except for preventing splatter. I can not rate the hot plate and the timer; the functions are not just a bonus. Keeping the 4 stars for now. Request: Please, sell the coffee machine cleaner/descaler through this site. March 2025. (3-day use Review) Bought his machine to replace my stainless steel percolator. Used the product for 3 days now: 1. The plastic Water Chamber is not removable for washing or water filling. 2. The only removable parts that you can wash are : tank lid, glass jug, filter funnel, aroma hopper 3.I always drink my coffee within 30 mins of brewing: hotplate is not an issue 4. Timer is not an issue for me because I prefer freshly ground coffee. 5. It takes practice to get used to operating the knob. *Coffee taste less bitter and I am using less coffee grounds that I used to. I will be back to update (if system permits) after 6 months. 4 out of 5 because I am one of those people who likes to wash and dry any water container

A better drip coffee maker and works well so far
This coffee maker is very good overall. The blooming process does add body to the coffee I usually consume. My only complaint is the warmer tray is limited to a half hour. I haven't found a way to change that, I would like 45 or 60 minutes, that would be great.

This is a good, and not so good coffee maker.
I have owned this coffee maker for several months now, and it has some very good features; 1. Blooming feature. 2. Very hot coffee This coffee maker, however does not consistently make good coffee. It can brew a very tasty batch, then the next one or two have a bad aftertaste. The reservoir does not use all the water up, so it has to be dumped after every pot, or the next pot is vey sour tasting. The over all quality of the materials used, seem rather cheap and are already looking worn after a few months, especially the hot plate. I would not recommend this coffee maker as a great purchase.

Peeling carafe
My thermal carafe is peeling after 5 months of use. I understand now there are no replacement parts, so this machine likely won't last long which is such a shame for the landfill. Companies need to do better.

Never Again
Guess I should have read the prior reviews before I bought. The warming plate shuts off after 30 minutes. And, no way to reset for a longer time. If the carafe breaks, you cannot buy a replacement. I’m a professional specialty coffee roaster with over 20 years experience and a proud member for 14 years of the SCA. I would not recommend to any of my clients to purchase this product!

Decent enough, but was expecting more
Truly makes great coffee, but not much better than other less expensive pots. Give the configuration, we have concerns that the pot will break at some point.

Awful
This is by far the worst coffee maker I've ever owned. I bought it six months ago and right away it was under performing compared to my previous Ninja, but I wanted to give it time in case my experience was based on old habits. Nope! You can't remove the water reservoir to fill up conveniently, the coffee maker only keeps the pot warm for 30 minutes, and it will randomly force you to clean your machine without allowing you to prompt passed it. I would never recommend this machine to anyone who's had a another drip machine before because this under performs on many levels.

Terrible product quality issues and malfunctions.
Bought this machine 2 months ago. The brew function periodically ceased to work in that period. After unplugging the machine it would typically allow it to start again. This morning it again did not allow me to brew. Threw the machine away. Power reset did not work. Very disappointed with this product. There are some serious quality control defects in the electrical logic behind this machines function. Do not buy...
