Description
This finely crafted nakiri knife mimics a Japanese cleaver shape and features a wide, ultra-sharp blade that’s ideal for prepping everything from veggies to meat to fish. It’s a sturdy knife created for just about everything in the kitchen, but most especially for chopping, slicing, and dicing vegetables. Four Star knives are made of proprietary special formula steel that has been perfected for almost 300 years. Combined with ZWILLING’s signature ice-hardening technique, these FRIODUR blades are harder, sharper, they will not stain or chip, and they retain their sharpness longer. Great for Chopping
This is a very lightweight product and very sharp. This cuts great and is my first Zwilling Knife, and I would consider more. Too bad it doesn't come with a sleeve to hold and a small sharpening block.

Lifetime Knife!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've always wanted to use a cleaver, but they are all too heavy and big for my smaller hands. This nakiri knife was the best purchase for myself I've done in my life. The feeling while cutting vegetables is so smooth. It's extremely sharp, yet lightweight. I've used Zwilling chef knives in the past, and can attest to their quality.

Excellent knife, happy with purchase

The sharpness is incredible and I was looking for something to replace the heavy Western style chef knife I had been using up until now. I love the flat bottom and flat tip and it cuts meats and vegetables effortlessly. Highly recommend!

Love 4Star knives
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using 4 star knives since I received some for my wedding over 30 years ago. Their excellent customer service (if you have a problem) is what brings me back to purchase the newer style knives. I love them. They cut through even the most dense vegetables and tough cuts of meat so easily, and I enjoy having the different styles and sizes to pick the appropriate knife instead of struggling with the wrong knife, especially as my hands get older. Don’t hesitate buying from this company.

Very lightweight and easy to use

I am able to chop veggies all the way down. I am not sure about the handle since it is not full tang but so far no issue.

Light and razor sharp
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my new nakiri knife! I had been wanting to get one and read many reviews on different brands. I happened to walk past a Henckels store and went in. The knife is so light in my hand, and I love that the blade is very thin and razor sharp. Basically I have used it to chop herbs and vegetables and love that I don't get the "acordeon" at the bottom of my veggies; the blade goes through and gets all.
