For replaceable-bulb fixtures the listed maximums generally range from about 40 W up to 100 W. Some items don’t specify a wattage because they use integrated/non-replaceable LEDs or are rated differently.
Power sources include hardwired AC for ceiling fixtures, plug-in mains power for many table and floor lamps, household mains for string lights, and USB (sometimes with optional battery) for certain LED curtain or decorative lights. Several lamps are corded and do not use batteries.
Ceiling fixtures often require hardwired installation and adult assembly. Table and floor lamps, plus some wall sconces, usually arrive ready to mount or need minimal assembly. Some LED fixtures include multi-head settings, built-in effect programs and individual-pixel or multi-mode control; curtain lights commonly offer multiple preset light modes.
Shades are commonly glass, metal, or polyester; lamp bodies and frames are often metal or iron. Decorative and string/curtain lights may also use plastic materials such as PVC or polystyrene.
