These cards use several mounting methods: double-stick tabs to secure photos, framed windows or slide-in holders for inserts, and adhesive envelopes or stickers paired with the card to keep photos in place.

The results show a range of paper weights, for example 80 lb (216 g), 140 lb (noted for a mount card), 250 g (250 gsm) cardstock, and heavier postcard stock at 350 gsm.

Several cards accept standard 4" x 6" photos. Specific window or opening sizes noted in these results include 3.55" x 5.3", 5" x 3.125", and 4.5" x 6.5".

Many photo greeting cards in these results are sold with envelopes and some are described as postage-friendly; by contrast, the nature postcards are standard postcard size (4" x 6"), printed on 350 gsm stock, and do not include envelopes.
