Bleach tile cleaners are formulated for hard, nonporous surfaces such as glazed tile, tubs and showers, shower doors, countertops, sinks, ceramic and porcelain, and other multi-surface bathroom and kitchen areas.

Spray from several inches away until the surface is thoroughly wet, let the product sit for the stated contact time (examples range from about 30 seconds up to 5 minutes), then rinse or wipe the surface clean.

Contact times vary by product; labels in the sample range from keeping the surface visibly wet for about 30 seconds up to leaving the product on for about 5 minutes before rinsing.

Avoid porous or sensitive surfaces such as marble, wood, painted surfaces, rubber, brass, copper, aluminum and other unsealed materials; labels also often warn against prolonged contact with certain metals and some types of porcelain.

They commonly target mold and mildew stains, soap scum, rust and toilet rings, limescale/calcium and other hard-water deposits, grease, and general bathroom grime or discoloration.
