    Great structure. Color fades quickly with high use

    The structure of the suit lasts. I swim at least a mile every other day and use the hot tub for 15 minutes. The color fades within 2 months.

    I like it!

    I bought this suit in the solid burgundy color. I hate swimsuit shopping and baring this old body on the beach, but this swimsuit gives me a little more confidence. It's as good as it's going to get.

    Best suit design for larger-chested women

    Bought my first Carmela suit 5 years ago. Great fit due to flexibility of choosing overall size for the suit AND also the underwire cup size. The beauty of the design is in the thickness and placement of the "x" on the back. It holds me in well and minimizes bulges. And the suit smoothes everything around the torso and waist. My only request is for more sophisticated fabric patterns. You had a very pretty paisley pattern 5 - 6 years ago that was discontinued (it was in a range of purple hues). Sadly, I lost it. The floral and geometric patterns you now offer are not attractive to me. However, the Carmela is the only one-piece I've found that enhances my shape and is comfortable when swimming laps - Thank you for that!

    I love the way this suit fits.

    I hope Lands' End continues to make this style. However, I have bought four in different colors and so far, the only one that has not faded is the black one. I hope it doesn't fade, but I haven't worn it many times,

    I have 3 Carmela swim suits that I have purchased over the years and recently ordered another one in burgundy. It was awful. Bottom is too loose, top is cut weirdly and just looks lopsided. I had to return it. I hope this was a fluke because I have really liked this style previously.

    Camela swimsuit

    I love Carmela bathing suits and have been wearing them for years. I miss the days of all the different colors. Hate that black and blueberry are usually the only choices. Was happy to see a green print last year and a blue mosaic print I bought this year. Please bring back brown, teal or pink.

    Fits me nicely. I am 5’9” tall and length is perfect. I bought it for lap swimming and this works. I didn’t realize it had underwire. Kept it anyway.

    uncomfortable suit

    I bought this suit several months ago but did not wear it until I went on vacation a few weeks ago. I have been wearing Lands End suits for many years and have been happy with them, but this is the most uncomfortable suit I have ever owned. The underwires from the bra come up too far and dig into my side. I don't think I can continue wearing it!

    This fits great but it faded after a few wearings- despite "chlorine resistant" rating. I followed directions, rinsing immediately after swimming and using mild dish soap.I am keeping it, but it looks tie dyed.

    Not made as well as previous Carmella suits

    I received the purple Carmella suit yesterday. As I previously ordered the black and navy blue/ polkadot suits, I assumed this one would be comparable. I tried it on and it fit, but I failed to notice there was a seam up the back which the other two suits did not have. I only noticed this detail after I hand washed it and didn’t feel at that time I could return it. These suits hold up fairly well, my only complaint is that the elastic in the bottom of the polkadot one has stretched. Since the rest of the suit is in good shape, I will be having that repaired by a seamstress, which I don’t consider to be a big deal

    Cute but not flattering for my figure

    This was a gift, cute style & seems to be well made. Although the tucks and underwire should help a small-chested woman, it is not flattering on me (unless you like the 14-yr-old or super-sporty look). Between athletic & pear body type. I need the padding, will look for some.

    Not the quality item it used to be

    I had this suit style in this color years ago and loved the flattering fit and the rich coffee color. I wore it regularly until the stretch finally gave out, so I eagerly ordered it when I saw the same suit/color on sale. Unfortunately the quality and fit were not the same. The material was thinner and uncomfortably clingy so I sadly returned it.

    This suit is advertised as chlorine resistant but it lasted only a month before it started getting discolored and stretched out. I like the fit very much but it doesnt last as long as I'd hoped.
