    Very effective!

    I wasn’t sure if these supplements were actually helping me that much, until I ran out and didn’t reorder for a while. And let me tell you…they work! I realized just how much these supplements have been helping me! I will not be making that mistake again! I will be making sure to reorder BEFORE I run out next time!

    Something changed about these & not in a good way.

    These used to be excellent - no fishy burps and the soft gels had no smell at all. Now they smell like week-old sardines and give me horrible fish burps. I don't know what you changed, but please change it back!

    Bad smell

    Have ordered for years however last batch was dark in color and and smelled like dead fish. I called and complained so they sent me 2 more. Same thing. Not sure what they did but will not order again.

    I found the size to be a problem for me. The pills are short but thick, and very hard. They actually stick in my throat. I have trouble with pill size generally so these may work for many people. I have found another brand that have longer, thin and soft gel caps.

    These are a little easier to swallow than the large caps, but they are fat and I still worry about one of them getting stuck in my throat. I wish they weren't so fat! I have no issues with the quality, never had with Swanson Products.

    The capsules used on these pills is rough and causes the pills to stick in my throat. Even tried using olive oil to help them slide down did not help. I have no issues with other pills. I assume the Omega-3 is fine, but choking is not so fun.

    Grateful for this product

    It's hard to find a good level of omega 3 that's also packaged in a small easy to swallow capsule. These are for my little (13#) dog (with her vets blessing). She gets one per day. They are a good level of quality omega 3 that she can easily swallow. Good for everything for her just as for people (skin, coat, eyes brain, joints, heart). Thank you Swanson for this product!

    Please read suggestion in this review.

    As recommended by my Health Care (HC) providers, I consume the maximum daily dose of OMEGA-3 daily which is 4 grams daily divided in one gram @ every meal & at bedtime. With most OTC Omega-3, one has to take numerous softgels to reach that dosage. With this high concentrate SWANSON OTC Omega-3, the number of softgels are less but still many such as 2 @ breakfast, 2 @ lunch, 3 @ supper & 3 @ bedtime. Maybe Swanson can already improve a good product by making it more concentrated like the prescription Omega-3 brand LOVAZA in which they are able to concentrate one gram in a softgel which is somewhat bigger than this Swanson softgel product but still easy to swallow since they are softgels. Please consider this suggestion.

    Smaller Softgels. Still good quality.

    Got this for my dogs, but it's fine for the rest of us as well. The best part is, the softgels are smaller than the usually "elephant pills" sized fish oil. If you're looking for something easier to swallow, this may do the trick.
