Long-term use of Florastor® has not been associated with any complications. After repeated oral doses, Florastor® transits through the digestive tract attaining steady-state levels that are maintained throughout use. Florastor® is no longer present in stools two to five days after discontinuation of treatment.   • A: Hi! Florastor can be taken with or without food with no change to its effectiveness. Therefore, the time of day is based on your personal preference. Approximately 30 minutes after ingestion, the Florastor capsule dissolves in the stomach, allowing the yeast cells to help keep your intestinal tract on track. Excellent product

Have been taking 2 capsules twice daily, starting when I was on antibiotics for oral surgery. I plan to continue even after antibiotics are finished. Product is excellent.

Florastor was recommended for me when I was on a very strong antibiotic that cause awful diarrhea, after I started taking this I had great results. I went off after done with antibiotics but still occassional soft loose stools so started again, and it works!!!
