Came fast, but neutral on the effects of it. Like most things to make a change in the body it may need more time.

Swanson lycopene and other prostate health supplements seem to be working well for me
I have been taking Swanson prostate health supplements for the last couple of years, and I believe they are working well for me. My PSA numbers got a little high a number of years ago, my prostate was enlarged, and I was beginning to think I was experiencing some symptoms beyond just prostate enlargement. I decided to try some prostate health supplements from Swanson a couple of years ago. My PSA numbers are now falling (currently at 5.0ng/ml). No symptoms, and no indication of any more enlargement. Of course, I can't prove that the products are causing the improvement, but I think it's very likely that they're helping. I began with Swanson pygeum a couple of years ago. Last year, I found out that the Canadian government had banned the use of pygeum in Canada because of the overharvesting of the pygeum africanum tree, so I was no longer able to order it. I then read a metastudy with interesting information about possible benefits from several substances beyond pygeum. I found that Swanson had multiple products containing substances that looked like good alternatives to pygeum: high-lignan flax oil, pumpkin seed oil, tomato lycopene, and stinging nettle. By the way, despite its popularity, saw palmetto did not make it onto my list. The metastudy I read showed study results that looked extremely inconsistent, and NIH has done its own studies and found it to be ineffective. Bottom line, here's what I'm using: 1. Swanson EFAs Flaxseed Oil High Lignan 2. Swanson Premium Pumpkin Seed Oil 3. Swanson Premium Lycopene 4. Swanson Superior Herbs Stinging Nettle - Standardized If you have concerns about your prostate health, I recommend these products.

Affect of Lycopene usage.
I am a 92 year old male who has the typical male old age problem, a prostate that misbehaves by causing me to have to get up several times at night to drain my bladder. I read an article about the potential for this product to help people like myself with this problem and sure enough after taking it for about 8 or 9 days I found that I only had to get up twice at night instead of the 3xs which I had been doing for a number of years. This product did not solve my problem, but it sure helped lessen it. Ergo, my recommendation to other male oldsters like myself, give it a try, it might help.

I think iot is important for my health AND it is not expensive.
I rate this as one of my important vitamin and supplement intakes. I take three per day. I order these by mail when my supply runs low, so it is convenient to restock. In this way, I do not even need to leave my house, so my convenience is a consideration, too. .

Very Good
Very good value for money. Some people do not have to spin your products and can say what they mean in a few words. Get rid of counting the words.

Great value
This is the amount of lycopene that you might get in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste. Just a little insurance for when I go a few days without any tomatoes. I don't think there is much evidence for mega-doses, so this is good enough for me. One complaint is that the capsules seem a bit big for 10mg. They're not really big, just that they take up more room in my pill container than seems necessary. They're the same size as the 20mg dose.
