    Tastes like childhood

    They nailed it. Milk at the bottom of a bowl of Froot Loops. The best food scientists using the weirdest chemicals couldn't have come closer. Such a nostalgic moment. Then I realized I'm less a fan of that taste at this age. I prefer the vanilla, coffee, and chocolate ones now.

    Artificial Taste

    I was really excited to try the fruity cereal flavor, especially since I had to order it online because it’s not available in stores near me. Unfortunately, it was a huge letdown. The taste is very artificial and doesn’t resemble cereal milk at all. I couldn’t even finish one carton, it just wasn’t enjoyable. Definitely not what I was expecting.

    Terrible

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like all the other flavors of Orgain that I’ve tried. I was skeptical but decided to try this. I should have listened to myself. This is horrible. It tastes like old perfume. I could barely choke down two mouthfuls. I don’t know what I’m going to do with the rest of the case. It’s expensive so I hate to throw it away but I can’t donate something so nasty.

    Sludge in the box?

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the flavor of these, but a couple of the containers have had a really icky sludge in them like curdled milk that makes me think they might be spoiled or contaminated? Now I'm scared to drink the rest which is a huge bummer because I invested in a case.

    It's delicious! Doesn't leave a weird after taste that normal whey protein powders would do. I like that it's smooth as you drink it and also there are no chucks. I would have liked the flavor to be stronger cause it was light and subtle.

He was using the kids grass fed but seen these and was nervous about purchasing but he said he loves them better than the grass fed ones by orgain.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My kids really like this flavor. The after taste is very mild compared to other brands of protein shake. My favorite part, though, is the use of monk fruit to sweeten, rather than those other nasty artificial sweeteners. This is why I am willing to pay a little more. Need to have the ready made drinks as my son takes it for his after wrestling practice second breakfast…and I take it for my midnight protein at work. So convenient! Some wishes…I wish it had a little more fiber, so the full feeling lasts longer than 30 minutes. Wish we could pack more protein in the lactose free cartons. And the fruity flavor in the lactose free cartons.

    I’ve tried the kids version of this flavor and loved it. It tastes just like “fruity cereal” milk. This one with 30 gm protein is pretty good too. It also has the same fruity cereal taste. My only complaint is the sweetener. It has a bit of a diet taste. And I normally am fine with diet drinks. I still recommend this drink however. It’s definitely better than the powders which normally don’t taste like the flavor advertised.

    Great product

    This is a light protein with a very clean finish. I enjoy the flavor. This fruity cereal also has lower carbs than some of the other flavors. I was not sure if I would enjoy this but I really do. It has a fresh taste and I enjoy it any time of the day.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It really does taste exactly like the milk of fruity cereal, which must have been a happy accident (who sets out to engineer that taste??). I prefer the taste of this to the 30g protein chocolate flavored shake (20g protein is my OG/all time favorite, but I need more protein right now). It is sweet, but not unbearably so (I can't do Pr3mier). Glad I tried it and just set up a subscription.
