You changed the recipe to save money.. the new recipe doesn't have the same kick or bite from the vinegar. McCormick kills another successful product .

My favorite hot sauce right now
I’ve been sleeping on Cholula for too long. I regret not trying it years ago. It’s my favorite hot sauce right now. I like to make Cholula chicken with chicken thighs chopped and slow cooked with Adobo seasoning, honey and cholula. It is so tasty. I even put it on my pierogi. Don’t sleep on Cholula and buy the bigger bottle like I wish I would have. It’s more Smokey flavor than vinegar and not overly spicy either.

For flavor, not heat
I love this hot sauce on all kinds of things as a piquant, savory addition. Not for a hot wings situation. The only thing I don't love is how much I struggle with the little wooden knob top. Love the idea of it as well as the glass bottle but would like easier access.

What did you change?
Not the same Cholula since McCormick bought them they have changed the ingredients or something and does not have the same flavor anymore. Sort out what you changed and fix it please.

My absolute favorite!
I have always loved original Cholula but the green hot sauce is my favorite for sure! I put it on anything and everything. One of my favorite ways to use it is to mix some with my homemade ranch dressing and make a spicy green chile ranch sauce that is great for dipping, drizzling, dressing on a salad, etc.

Unable to buy this product again.
It was a great "Hot Sauce", until they started adding "NATURAL FLAVORS!" Since then I have to go to a different Hot sauce. Not sure why they changed the recipe.

We're sorry our Cholula® Original Hot Sauce didn't meet your expectations. The term "natural flavor" can refer to any combination of ingredients from natural sources as opposed to artificial (man-made) sources. There has been no formulation change to our Cholula® Original Hot Sauce.

My indulgence, as I'm not a snack eater, is using the Choula Green Pepper Sauce as a deep for Cheetos, Crunchy style. I slather the sauce on & also put extra in the bowl to dip as well. I'd love to see McCormicks get with Cheetos & make a flavorful spicy Cheetos. The current one is just hot and no flavor. Your Choula Green Sauce would be a hit !
