Q: Does this come with a seal underneath the cap?

  • A: Hi there! We apologize for any confusion. We recently started producing some products out of the East Coast with a slightly different cap shape with no foil seal underneath the cap. This alternative cap design uses a different safety seal feature than our bottles made at our West Coast facility. It contains a smaller interior cap with a plug-like safety seal and tamper evident plastic ring. When opening, there should be a cracking of the small plastic fasteners along the inside edge of the cap to ensure product safety. Although visually different, both versions of our caps provide a complete seal and product integrity is maintained.

    can't cook with it

    Although it says 2 ingredients it has a hidden sweetness to it.. First time cooking rasta pasta and ruined it with this sweet as "natural almond milk" sticking to elmhurst.. $9 and all.

    Beyond Disappointing

    I bought this brand because my usual unsweetened almond milk was out of stock, it had mostly good reviews & the ingredients list looked good. Just tried it in my cereal & it tastes like plastic. Its horrible. I don't taste almond at all, it literally tastes like plastic smells (if that makes sense). I'm going to have to toss it out.

    Very very tasty almond milk...

    If you cannot drink regular cow's milk, for whatever reason, this is the next best thing. VERY tasty and low calorie. I don't miss regular milk at all, being able to drink this as a substitute...

    This Almond milk is the only one I can drink, while the others make me sick. As you open it, you can smell almonds. It is the best milk I have ever had. Once you taste it, you will never go back to any other regular milk substitute.

    I love this stuff! No other almond milk compares...

    Even though I'm a Canadian and we're trying to avoid buying US products due to the political shenanigans going on these days, I won't go without my Califia Farms Vanilla Flavored Almond milk. I make a very complex blended tea brew for myself everyday and it's not complete without your almond milk. Even with the cinnamon honey and two types of cream that I have to include to make Jude's Special Blend. Please don't ever stop making this!

    Kidney friendly

    I like the milk for what it doesn't have, no sugar, low sodium, low potassium. I have one working kidney and I'm taking good care of it. The taste is great and the extra calcium is an asset.

    Inconsistent quality and taste since formula and packaging changes

    I’ve enjoyed this Califia Farms product for years, but lately the taste has been sometimes bitter (even though it is a fresh bottle), sometimes watered- down, and sometimes really good! Some bottles still have the old plastic seal under the cap, and others have the new cap without a seal. That doesn’t seem to affect the taste. But now I never know if I’m getting a good bottle or a dud. What is going on with the quality control?

    Would not recommend

    This is light and tastes metallic and slightly savory. I wish it didn’t have added sea salt. Make sure to shake it well. If you like almond milk you’ll probably like this. I’ve tried giving almond milk a chance but i simply don’t like it. I have even tried the Califa coconut milk almond blend, still has a weird aftertaste from the almond.

    Best unsweetened almond milk

    I recently tried this unsweetened almond milk and it is the best of its flavor I’ve had yet. Has a great consistency and taste. Love it for smoothies too!
