A: I believe this person is asking if the knobs that are used to pull the drawer open can be removed and replaced with a different knob.

Looked nice initially but after a piece of tape got on the top, when removed it took up the top layer leaving a cardboard look underneath. We’ve had it 6 months and isn’t holding up. Very disappointed

I just finished assembling this desk and I think it's handsome. But do know there are 45 wooden dowels and the instructions call for glue on all of them. I'm used to flat pack furniture using dowels for alignment and screws for structural integrity. This design uses screws AND calls out "Apply glue to all wooden dowels to ensure integrity of the structure." on every step with the dowels. Since you only glue half a joint at a time, that's 90 glue applications. And 45 glue "squeeze outs" that have to cleaned up when the joint is made. Because I assembled this in my living room, I had to use drop cloths in case I missed a glue drip. Very tedious. I laugh at the "60 minute" assembly time listed in the (otherwise excellent) instructions. Another unpleasant surprise was that although the desk is almost 24 inches deep, the drawers are only about 14 inches. Again, I think it's a handsome desk. It has the unpretentious industrial/farmhouse feel. It looks like it's been here a while.

Desk comes in several pieces but it is a breeze to put together. Instructions are very clear and it isn’t difficult at all.
Lots of work to put together!!!! came in a million pieces-do not buy if you are not handy!

If you are a contractor, carpenter you are in luck -but if you don't have the time or skills to pretty much build something from almost scratch-do not get this desk! I can be a bit handy and my significant other is totally not, but he tries! you have to put together almost everything-even the little metal glider things on the drawers!!! It came in a million bolts, screws and pieces. Do not buy if you are not in the mood for a week or more of building.!
