First, the softness is directly related to the amount of lint; meaning, the softer the toilet paper, the more lint there will be. The second cause is lint builds up on paper manufacturing lines. In this case, we do regularly shut down our manufacturing lines to remove excess lint in an attempt to reduce the chances of it happening. If you're dissatisfied with the amount of lint on Charmin Ultra Gentle, we recommend you give Charmin Ultra Strong a try.

When I bought Ultra Gentle back in December 2019, it was right after I had colon surgery and this was a lifesaver!! But, now, like others have mentioned, it just doesn't have as much of that soothing quality as it used to have. I still buy it because I haven't found anything better, but wish you would bring back the old formula. Especially based upon the price, this should be the exceptional product we expect.

listen. do you have hemorrhoids? tears or fissures? just generally want softness over durability? this is your toilet paper. switching to this has helped with my semi-chronic issues down there—i genuinely notice a difference when i travel and am using different TP. can’t recommend it enough. i do also recommend keeping baby wipes near the toilet for those occasions when you need extra wiping muscle, but i always use this TP for the first + last wipes and appreciate its gentleness every day.

Did not like charmin ultra gentle. Thin toilet tissue. Also, it does not have the wavy easy tear edge. Will not buy this product again. Much prefer charmin ultra soft or ultra strong.

I started liking Charmin lately and have previously gotten Ultra Soft or Ultra Strong. This Ultra Gentle seems like a cheap quality to me, and seems like you need to use twice as much. Would not buy again.
